I still had hand to hand combat and my holy magic. Those had no metal to get repelled by his body. When pillars of fire rained down on him from the ceiling, her was surprised and then startled. "How is this possible!? We scouted this hotel room and checked it for bus. How did you get such a big flamethrower in here!?" he demanded. I was not going to tell either of them. I also got into melee range and began to punch and kick the AEP unit. Since I had already run the other one off, there was no chance of back up for him. I was going to kill him when he gave up. He only had a sliver of HP left. Since he was on the ground and begging for mercy, I decided to just take him in as a prisoner. I said "Fine. I'll stop beating you up. I'll just bring you in for some intense questioning." He then smirked. "I win." he said. The cap on my head then fell over my eyes and blocked out my vision. The nanites of the hat morphed into a solid gray paste.
Under normal circumstances this would be bad. I was blinded by the AEP unit's nanites. "You had your turn. We could have had a fun time together. Now, it's my turn to beat on you." he said. The only thing I could see was gray dots. However, I had a lot of health left. There were some magic buffs that I could use to protect myself. I also had a lot of healing spells. My enemy was also really down bad when it came to his health. He punched me in the gut and that was when I punched back. I got real lucky and clipped his side. He grunted and I could hear him jump back. "How did you see me?" he asked. I shrugged and said "Don't know. Might as well take this off." "So, it was just a fluke then. I'm going to win so you might as well give up." he replied nervously. I charged at where I heard his voice come from. He yelped and I tackled him into a wall. That seemed enough to do it. He was knocked out as it was not lethal. The nanites fell from my face and went back to him. It melded into his body. I sighed as I picked him up. I was going to use him. There was a lot we could learn from his body.
I carried him out the hotel and down the street. It probably looked really suspicious to people, but the cops were not going to bother me. Even if they did get called in and dispatched, there was nothing that could be done. It was not like anything would stick to me once I got to the station. I made my way with the cyborg to the Red Grind. I was able to take the AEP unit to the back and move through the hallway to the lab. I opened the door and placed the knocked out cyborg into the chair in the middle of the lab. Mason was already there. Greta, Caleb and Cha d were there as well. He was talking to them when I came in, but now the attention was all on me. After I made sure that 12-001 was secure in the chair, I turned to the others. I explained everything that happened. Mason looked at his new assistants. "That's horrible. We're going to be giant targets. Did you hear anything from the transmission hub near where you are, guys?" he asked. They shook their heads. "We wanted to join the best clan there was. Nothing told us it would be dangerous." Caleb said. Greta and Chad nodded.
