Ryan, Samantha, and Jeffries first headed to the storage locker where they'd left the rest of the Restoration Guns. Jeffries grabbed one, and the three of them headed down the hall of Research and Development, looking for people who might be negatively affected by Transformation Gun transformations.

In the hall, they saw Larry Eastbrook and Carrie Brierton, laughing and giggling.

"That Rachel McLewis girl is, like, so uncool." Carrie said. "Why doesn't she dress sexy?"

"Cause Sallow is a total nerd and wouldn't let her even if she wanted to." Larry said. "He's like, like.... what was I talking about?"

Ryan, Samantha, and Jeffries looked at each other and cringed. Normally, Larry and Carrie were a brilliant duo of technicians, and smart at math, making charts, blueprints, and plans. But since they had been zapped with the Bimbo Gun some hours ago, the two of them now were more preoccupied with who looked sexier, and acted like they couldn't tell an equal sign from a subtraction sign.

Seeing Larry and Carrie like this was just too sad. Ryan, Samantha, and Jeffries nodded to each other in silent agreement, and raised their Restoration Guns.

Ryan and Samantha zapped Larry and Carrie, and instantly a change came over them. The duo of tech geeks now looked more like their normal selves, and now looked confused and embarrassed.

"What the hell were we doing?" Larry exclaimed.

"We were acting like brainless bimbos." Carrie added. "The type we used to joke about."

"Yeah, the ones who'd be safe in a zombie apocalypse if zombies actually ate brains." Larry said.

"You don't need to make the joke." Carrie said. "I already explained it."

"Looks like you two are back to normal." Samantha said with a smile.

"I think we are." Carrie said. "What was that thing Dr. Chance zapped us with?"

"That was a Bimbo Gun." Jeffries said. "It's one of many different Transformation Guns out there."

"What?" Larry said. "You mean that silly game you and your friends were playing during break time?"

"Yes." Jeffries said. "Somehow it became real. And no one here knows why."

"I don't think we have to worry about Dr. Chance anymore." Ryan said. "He's gone."

"Gone?" Carrie asked. "Is he dead?"

"Yes and no." Ryan said. "I'll explain later. He's the least of our worries now. Have you seen Mr. Sallow?"

"He ran by about an hour or so ago. Maybe more." Larry said. "I don't think either of us were paying attention."

"We were distracted." Carrie said. "We weren't ourselves back then."

"But you're all right now." Samantha said. "The Restoration Guns worked."

"Restoration Guns?" Larry asked. "If you had those all along, why didn't you use them sooner?"

Jeffries was about to speak, but Ryan spoke up first.

"We ran into some setbacks. Long story." Ryan said. "The point is, now we have them and we need to find some other people who might be changed by them."

"You might have seen them." Samantha said. "Some of the Transformation Guns have really obvious effects. The Goth Gun, the Clown Gun, the Steampunk Gun, the Fat Gun..."

"Now that you mention it, I did see a few clowns. And some guy dressed as a pirate or a whaler or some old sea type." Carrie said. "I wasn't really paying attention."

"It's all a big mess. We made it, even if by accident." Jeffries said. "But we can't clean it up by ourselves. You want to join us?"

"Sure." Carrie said.

"Might as well." Larry said.

"Good. We can give you two more Restoration Guns - we have eight more of them - and we can all go looking for Mr. Sallow and the others." Jeffries said.

Soon, Larry and Carrie had joined them in front of the storage lockers, and they had picked up some additional Restoration Guns.

Now there were five of them, in the halls of the Research and Development Department, looking for Mr. Sallow and others who had gone missing in the confusion.

A quick check of Doug Sallow's office revealed he was not there. No one was there.

"My guess is that he's in the secondary lab." Jeffries said. "He probably didn't want a part of what I was doing in the main lab."

"I can't blame him." Samantha said. "It's not like he had any way of knowing what was going on."

"Okay, we check the secondary lab next?" Ryan said. The others nodded.

"I think we should turn off our cell phones before going there." Samantha said. "No need for any distractions. If you have any texts or anything you'd like to send, send them now."

"Some people are waiting for updates." Ryan said "Let's send them the good news so they don't call on us asking for it if we end up in the middle of some confrontation."

Ryan and Samantha both sent texts. Ryan sent one to his cousin Kyla Leeson, and Samantha sent one to her son Jay Duncan.

Ryan: We have recovered Restoration Guns. May be able to help your changed classmates in next few days. Turning phone off for now. TTYL.

Samantha: Tell your friends we have the Restoration Guns. We may be able to change people back in next few days. Right now, we're busy at MTI. Turning phone off. Later.

With that, they switched their phones off.

Ryan, Samantha, Jeffries, Larry, and Carrie approached the secondary lab. They heard voices in the lab. It sounded like people were arguing, and debating, and ... singing sea shanties?
