"Mom, come on. Tell me what the hell is going on with you."
"I don't know," she said, honestly. She couldn't trust anything. "Nadine, I remember someone taking me, and saying they were going to experiment on me...it seemed like I was there a few hours...you said it was two days...I don't know what's real anymore," she whispered.
"Did someone slip you something?" Nadine said. "Experiment on you?" She was clearly skeptical. "I'm calling the cops."
Laura blinked. Why hadn't that occurred to her? "That's probably a good idea."
