"What in the hell is going on here?!" Sarah roared as Karyn ignored her outburst and moved right past her, already working on a large chunk of chocolate cake that Sarah's mother had set out for the both of them.
"Hungry..." was all that Susan's mother said. "So hungry..."
Sarah walked up to her mother, worried now, and tried to stop her mother by grabbing her arm, stopping the flow of food to her mother's maw.
"Mom! Stop eating!"
Sarah's mother responded by bawling like a child who got her favorite toy taken away while Karyn just ate, scarfing down her next slice as her belly plopped over her waist, now a full-fledged gut as she continued eating.
"Hungry!" Susan whined, forcefully shoving Sarah away and resuming eating, her tears already forgotten as she dug into her food.
The box of health bars laid in front of Sarah's face, the stranger watching as Sarah tried to grab them, only for Karyn to grab it before she could and take three more out, plopping them in her mouth a moment later. Susan also grabbed a few of her own and ate them, handing one out to Sarah.
"Eat Sarah. You'll feel good!"
Sarah backed away then when she bumped into something round. A quick glance behind her revealed Karyn, a flabby arm wrapping around her middle while her other hand stuffed some cake into her mouth.
Susan held out the bar towards Sarah's face.
"Open up sweetie. You'll feel so much better!"
Sarah tried to close her mouth but her mother pinched her nose, forcing her to open her mouth. The bar was shoved in and Sarah struggled to get free, finally doing so. As she got free from Karyn's chubby-going-on-fat hold, Sarah had swallowed the bar after chewing it.
All her resistance vanished like a mirage in the desert and her eyes gleamed.
Karyn and Susan looked at each other while eating, smiling at one another.
Finally Sarah spoke.
"Got anymore food? I'm hungry!"
