It was not too hard to think that there would be some interference from those that hated the PEP units and the transmission hubs. After about a week in-game, there were some large planes that flew over the islands. Many agents from the government parachuted down on both islands. Paul said "I have the manor. You 2 can help the others." Brett nodded and lifted me over his shoulder. "Don't barf all over me." he said as he took to the air. The trek to the next island was 15 minutes long. As soon as we landed, we were in battle mode. We had to look around and search for the X-frames. Brett was able to talk to the trees and get the directions. We charged in and just beat the agents there. Sebastion was able to vouch for us in time for the first agents to arrive. All of us had to work together to kill everyone that was trying to kill us. The large X-frames used their special abilities to dispatch their foes. There were several waves that we needed to clear in order to survive. The agents got slightly harder as the waves went by. There were only 3 waves now. There would probably be more soon.

Quietly, we took their weapons and talked to the X-frames here. There were pairs of the 01, 05, 09 and 13 models. They were wary and suspicious of us. However, they were in a pinch here. They really did not want to risk themselves or expend extra energy. There was only so much of it. Eventually, they asked us to return to our island. I was expecting it. There was nothing wrong with them wanting privacy. Every week and a half, the number of waves of agents increased by 2. Brett and I made sure that we went over there to keep them safe. Paul was enough to secure the compound. Luckily, there were no Players. It seemed they were busy with the counter offensive assaults at the leaked locations. Speaking to the X-frames at Location A, Location D and B had already fallen to the agents. Watching the roads and skies allowed savvy agents to follow some to their Locations. That was not very good. Location C was hard to assault, but even they lost half their members to androids. As long as we were there, we would secure this Location from harm. It did boost their opinion with us all.

Really comfortable at the manor, time flew by really quickly. When the 9 weeks were up, the female X-frames were ready to bear the AEP units. It was not a mammalian live birth. It was just a constant stream of nanite paste that came from them. After several gallons, the nanites formed themselves into the AEP units. They were 7 feet 1 inch tall. They looked like I was expecting. Their skin was a leathery matte gray with a harder black biometal plating over it on the limbs and jaws. The augments that they had all were made and installable from the clan labs. I as the technician would be able to track and create them. The augments could range from blades, lazers and guns as weapons to wings and wheels for mobility. All the AEPs had pink hair and silver eyes. It was actually a pretty cool concept. They were much more machine than human, but they had biological metabolisms that severed them from the need to charge. They had one major flaw. They all had a big noticeable port on their chests and needed to connect to the internet to access the transmission hubs. That was really bad.
