Izzy swung open the door, seeing her sister Michelle standing there wearing a light blue brides maid dress. Her younger sister was a bit more curvy and had long dark hair with a lighter skin ton. They were a few years apart, Michelle being 19. Seeing that something was bothering her, Izzy invited her in.
“What’s up? Is everything ok?” Isabelle asked as she sat down at the vanity
Trying to hide how she felt, Michelle stated “Um ya like Mom just wanted to make sure you’re almost ready. And that Lauren is waiting outside for you”
Michelle was hurt that Izzy picked her bestfriend Lauren instead of her own sister to be her maid of honor. Noticing that something was up Izzy asked “seriously Michelle what’s really bugging you? You’ve been acting weird all month.”
Michelle paced back and forth until she turned to her sister. “It’s not fair! You knew I wanted to be a bigger part in your wedding. I know you and Lauren are close but I’m your sister!” She said almost whining
Izzy almost surprised, had no idea that it meant that much to her. She just thought Michelle was jealous because she knew that her sister always had a crush on her fiancé.
Getting more frustrated Michelle complained “You’ve always had it your way. Growing up you got what you wanted. In high school you got good grades, and now you have the prefect wedding and perfect life.”
Almost laughing Izzy asked “wait you think my life is perfect?”
“Duh, you have an amazing job at the law firm, great Home and an perfect soon to be husband” Michelle stated
The stone on the table started to grow a bit brighter but the two girls didn’t notice.
Izzy replies “My job is stressful, owning a fixer upper isn’t a cake walk and Jim is amazing but we do have our problems. You’re the one that has an easy life. Being a student, having Mom and Dad pay your rent and living the single life isn’t that bad sis!”
Both sisters getting more and more angry, they both stood up facing each other and yelled at the same time “I WISH YOU COULD SEE WHAT MY LIFE WAS LIKE!”
Suddenly there was a flash of bright light that was blinding. As it faded Michelle and Izzy gained focus again.
