It also was not the only thing that they did. Their teachers also taught them math and science when at home. Other PEP units would teach them how to handle their weapons and hand to hand combat. It was something that did not need to be mandated as everyone wanted to do it. Having their hand in training the new generation of cyborgs was desirable to all the PEP units in town. Once again, the children outpaced their weaker teachers in about a month or so. That switched all of their focus on how to actually enhance their skills. My children were all getting information on how to be good agents for the transmission hub. They learned combat with weapons and hand to hand. They also learned some computer engineering, programming, hacking, psychology, chemistry, anatomy, seduction and communications. Basically, they were making them perfect spies. It was not going to be fair. There was a bit of excitement that I had. Something more immediate was Erin, Finian, Nathan and Mandy getting a promotion to detective. They were doing great. I was in the lounge when Nathan came to me. "I need to talk to you." he said. I nodded and sat on the couch. There was a moment where he just stood where he was. "I want to be the top cop." he said. That was surprising. "Why? You hate people." I asked. He said "I am sick and tired of humans smiling at me and giving me pats on the back like they know me. A little girl was lost and I had to help her find her parents. I want more PEP units. I want our progenitors here. Then you'll see how it feels to be enslaved and hunted." he said.
I just looked at him. "So... why should I vote for you then? I do have sway as an officer in the clan." I said to get him back on track. He just smirked as he walked closer. It was a bit concerning. Nathan stopped in front of me and crouched between my legs. "You're a human that works in a PEP unit clan. You don't count as a normal human clearly. Worse comes to worse, you have those modified freaks to vouch for you. You are going to tell them to back off and give me the job." he said, looking me right in the eye. He was certainly confident. I was not convinced. "Whatever happened to you hating sex with a human?" Nathan frowned. "I'm not going to give you my ass. I am not a pleasure droid like you see humans create. Or even the filthy club that you guys set up." I scoffed. He then glared at me. "What's so funny!?" he challenged. I did not care what he thought. "I already told you that if you came to me, it would be troublesome for you. I don't know what I want, but you already trying to take your ass off the table is interesting." I told him. Nathan blinked. "Do you want to fuck?" he asked.
