I went and watched as it kicked off from a safe distance. If the first round of the rampage in the park was bad, this was even worse. It totally plagued the cities. Several heroes died to the scourge and my teams' rankings only grew. Dustin and Cody got to lead some of them into doing some petty crimes as well. One hero was beaten to a pulp. I decided to take her hostage. I did not need to keep the heroine for that long, so I got bored. I just let her go. I was not dumb enough to let her see my base. I took her out the pool in the trunk of a R8 and drove her very far away. I popped the trunk and allowed her to get out. 'You can go now. I don't want to keep you in my pool forever.' I told her telepathically. She glared harshly at me, but it was clear that she could not win. "You won't get away with this! One day, I will defeat you. This will never be forgotten, you hateful ooze!" she declared as she crawled out of the trunk. I then drove away. It was late at night. When I got to a red light. Another souped up car pulled in next to me. It revved the engines and it was clear they wanted to drag race.

Now, R8's were fast when they wanted to be, but I was just a base model from a dealership. It was likely their car was made for street racing. I was probably going to just lose, but I thought it would be fun nonetheless. Once I accepted the race invite, a blue line showing the race appeared on the map. It was a pretty straight. We were both going to go at the green light. It changed and I was able to keep up for the first block. Then they got the nitrous and jetted ahead. It was not even close. The driver was waiting for me at the finish line. They were leaning against their car and mocking me. "You finally showed up." the driver said. I made a human clone in the driver's seat to talk to them. "Yeah. It was a good race." I said. The passenger said "Was it though!? I think you fucking suck." He then came over to my door and said "I think that you need to answer for all of your shit." He then shot me with a gun through the window. They were assassins after all. The driver pulled out a riffle and started firing at me. I crawled out of the passenger side for cover. These clones had no weapons on them.

Only my qi could be used. That was actually all that I needed. Throwing fireballs and metal spikes quickly put them on the defensive. However, they were extremely high level. The bobbed and weaved around me. Once they got into close combat range, they beat me up and killed the human clone. The R8 was able to escape. It was on its last legs when I pulled over. I was leaking a dark yellow type of oil and gas all over. I was also riddled with bullet holes. I was a living symbiote, so that did not mean that I was going to die. It did mean that I would not be able to drive myself anymore. I was about to move on to another perspective when I saw a couple of people walk by. It looked like they were interested. "Look at that wreck. What the hell do you think happened to it!?" one of them said. The girl on his arm looked and shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe a shootout?" she guessed. One of the 4 male friends with them came over to take a closer look. He looked back at them and said "Maybe we could fix it up a bit. Then we could ride it around the city." The guy with the girlfriend scoffed at him.

It would be an inconvenience for me for them to be poking around, but it seemed that they were going to pass me by. Half of them wanted to do something else. The nice couple of had better things to do. Namely, each other. It was then that one of the group turned to another and said "Doesn't your brother have a pickup truck, Sam?" Sam looked at me and then the group. He sighed. "I could call him, but he's weird." he said. The half that could not be bothered to deal with the wreck just left them there. The guys crowded around Sam as he made the call. "Hey. Irwin, you still have that tow truck?" There was a pause while Sam rolled his eyes. Sam then explained the full situation to him. He then waited a few seconds, nodding when he felt appropriate. He then said "Thanks. See you soon. Billy and Jeff will be here too." Sam then turned off the phone. "He'll be here in half an hour. Just... don't mind him if it gets weird." he warned. "You keep saying he's weird. What's up with him!?" one of his best friends asked. Sam sighed. "He not a Blessed human like most of the family. He's a disgrace."
