Principal Davison had retreated to his inner office after Nicole and Brad handed him the second Fat Gun. Nicole and the others were free to use the Lobby directly outside as their meeting ground, and to let him know when they'd found more Transformation Guns.
After placing the Fat Gun in the safe with the other confiscated Transformation Guns, Principal Davison sat down at his desk to think about the situation. Most of these Transformation Guns were too dangerous to be allowed to fall into the wrong hands. When one could go making someone fat out of spite, or turn them into a Goth or a Nerd or a Slut or otherwise cause drastic changes in their appearance or personality, the world could be a very unstable place. The principal was glad that so far, these Transformation Guns and their mischief seemed contained within Lake Point High School and McMillan Tech Industries.
However, Simon Davison had to admit that some of these Transformation Guns had their beneficial effects. Had he himself not been zapped by the Geek Gun and given the knowledge of dozens of fantasy and sci-fi movies, TV shows, video games, and comic books, he most likely would have been overwhelmed by the whole Transformation Gun crisis and not known how to react. His immediate predecessor as Lake Point High's principal, Mrs. Levinson, was well-meaning, but she too would have been unable to handle such a chaotic situation. Nor would Carter, Jackson, and Masters, the others who had applied for the position when Mrs. Levinson stepped down.
The Geek Gun's effects made Davison better equipped to handle this, because he now knew of all sorts of variations of these Transformation Guns that appeared in all kinds of 'geeky' properties. With this in mind, he allowed Nicole to hold on to the Babe Gun for a while, instead of locking it up immediately with the others. The Babe Gun clearly could be put to good use in helping those in pain and need. Especially those who had been the subject of a humiliating or detrimental physical transformation after being zapped with one of the other Transformation Guns.
So he allowed Nicole to use the Babe Gun to help herself and Melissa Smith. However, he told them to return the Babe Gun to him when they were through with it.
For now, though, Principal Davison needed a break from this crisis. He turned to his computer to check on the usual school-related business. However, the usual issues about needs for upgrades to gym and cafeteria supplies seemed so inconsequential now given what was happening today.
He checked the school's social media sites. It was way too soon to update them addressing the crisis, he felt. He turned to his news feed.
What he saw on the news feed disturbed him greatly. Over the past hour or so, there were reports of strange incidents in other places. And now, he saw this new news report. Of mysterious changes and transformations occurring in places far beyond Lake Point.
The more of these stories he read, the more he realized this was much worse than he thought. Far, far worse.
There was a commotion from the Lobby.
Principal's Office, Lobby
Nicole had texted back and forth with Chris Morgan. He was on his way to the Principal's office with Randy Goodman and Amber Levine, and they were going to bring the Emo Gun, Clown Gun, and Mime Gun with them. They hadn't located the Bimbo Gun or the Prude Gun, but Mrs. Lynch the guidance counselor had clearly been zapped by the former and Tiffany Sanders had been zapped by the latter.
Jay Duncan and Rebecca Fadil had texted back earlier. They'd been joined in their search for the Jock Gun and the Goth Gun by Zoe Gibson and Athena DeVries.
"Okay, Chris, Randy, and Amber will be here soon. I hope this whole thing will be over ..."
Nicole never finished the sentence, for at that point Steve "The Nerd" Farber (formerly Steve "The Stud" Farber before an angry Biff Meadows zapped him with the Nerd Gun) barged into the room from the hall. Nicole winced, as did Reggie and Biff.
"Hey, guys. I heard you were gathering all those crazy changing guns." Steve said.
"What are YOU doing here?" Nicole said, glaring angrily at Steve. "The Principal said you're suspended for what you did to Theodora Blakely, and was waiting until you came out of hiding to tell you."
Biff normally would have joined in with Nicole in giving Steve a hostile reception, but he was currently stuck in the form of a nine-year old boy, thanks to the Random Gun.
Reggie the cheerleader gave Steve a dirty look. Kyla and Melissa had not been present for the earlier incident but they had heard the details from Nicole, so they too glared at Steve with disgust.
"Yeah, well this whole place is under lockdown. I can't leave until security says I can." Steve replied. "I'm here in case you found a ray gun that will turn me back to myself. You found a Stud Gun yet?"
"Never heard of one." Kyla said.
"I know there's a Jock Gun. Makes people more athletic. If it worked for that fat nerd Leonard Drullers, it can work for me." Steve said.
"We're still looking for that one." Nicole replied. "And even if we DID have it, why should we do you any favors after what you did? You violated Theodora's dignity and consent by using the Slut Gun on her. You may have ruined her life for good."
"Why do YOU care? It's not like you liked her or anything." Steve glared.
"It doesn't matter if I liked her or not, it's still wrong! You also threatened Sarah. As far as I'm concerned, you earned this punishment." Nicole said.
"Come on, you must have something I can use. Give me another chance." Steve said. He stared at Nicole. Not only did Nicole now look even more like a hot babe than ever before, but she was also carrying around one of those Transformation Guns.
"You got one of those things?" Steve asked. "That one's GOT to be a good one if you're holding on to it."
"It's the Babe Gun." Nicole said. "It makes people very attractive. And sorry, but I'm not using it on you."
"Come on, let me have it." Steve replied. "You know you want me to be your dream guy..."
Nicole shook her head. "No. You don't deserve to be more attractive."
Everyone else in the room continued to glare at Steve. He knew right away he had no friends there. And on realizing this, a dark anger stirred within him.
"Why you little bitch!" He lunged at Nicole with surprising speed, given his weak and uncoordinated stereotypical nerd's body. He grabbed at the Babe Gun, and a tug of war ensued between them.
Kyla, Reggie, Melissa, and Asian girl Brad Stephens shouted at Steve to quit it. And it was at that moment that both the door to the Principal's inner office, and the door to the hallway opened.
Principal Davison entered the room, attracted by the commotion, at the same time Chris Morgan, Randy Goodman, and Amber Levine arrived.
Nicole pulled the Babe Gun away from Steve, but in the process, the Babe Gun went off. Three times. Three blasts struck different accidental targets.
