I was really relieved that they were healed when they came out of it. I pulled Maroon and Katie closer to me in a hug. "Thank goodness. I am so glad that you are safe." I said. Maroon just groped my ass. "I'm just glad that you found me in time. I was on the brink." he said with a wink. I rolled my eyes and stepped back from them. "Shut up. I'm just sorry about Red. He was the only casualty in the attack. He did not deserve that." They nodded and we all went to the club as a full clan. We had to get Red's body out of there and cleaned all the blood. Now that the terminator was gone, the police had to come from a nearby jurisdiction. All of the cops in town were dead. That meant more were going to have to be stationed here. I wondered if we could get some PEP units in the police force now. Paul pulled a new poor PEP unit off of the street to replace Red. He was a scrawny guy with ratty black hair and hazel eyes. His charge port was on the bottom of his right foot. He was called Orange because of his orange speedos and vest. As a cyborg, he was just as good as Red. He got Red's X-frame.
Due to the fact that we lost Red, Paul and Brett were convinced that we needed to grow our numbers. The best way to do that would be to use Sunny and Lucy to make some PEA units. The problem was that none of the other cyborgs wanted to deal with them. We could brow beat Orange because he was the newest member. All he had to do for the protection and X-frame that suddenly fell into his lap was breed Sunny. That was something that we felt was a worthwhile trade off for joining the clan. I went around and tried to get any of the males to volunteer, but they refused. That was fine. Orange could do it with both Sunny and Lucy. Both of them were taller, better built and had lower numbers than Orange. In every way but one, they were superior. Orange still looked at them with disgust as he shot his cum inside their X-wombs. Sparks and Claire paired off and so did Katie and Maroon. The others were left out. Brett decided to have his fun with Alex. Ryder came over to me and I spent time with him. He had a mission to do some hacking. Alexis joined in as well. It was quick job with a cipher.
Even with the loss of Red our membership exploded. Between the 4 children I had, the 4 from Orange, and then 1 from Sparks and Maroon; we had 10 new members on the way. Of course, we were going to have to wait for them to be born. After that, we needed to let them grow up. Going over to the police department, I decided to see if it was possible to infiltrate the police department. I searched the streets for some PEP units to try it out. I could not find any that was not already in a clan. Keith and Niko both were in competition with us for members and influence. I would have to do more if I wanted to execute plans. I went to the PEP Lab and started with the archwing launching apparatus research. That would allow us to attach wings capable of flight to the X-frames. Seeing them fly would be cool. Ryder entered the lab and asked what I was doing. I asked Ryder to inform me if there were any rescue missions. He closed his eyes and I waited. It took him 6 minutes. He said "I think I found one. One is in downtown Neo-Rutten City. Apparently, there was a massive round up." That was good.
I asked "Can we get there before they are destroyed?" He was unsure. "They want us to go now because they will be destroyed tomorrow." It would take 6 days to make the launcher and then the basic arching. From there, we could iterate and make archwings that here better at speed, carrying weight, lift, and durability. I just sighed and said "Maybe we can do it. Are you up for a trip to the city?" He smiled and said "Just you and me? Sure!" We got in one of the cabs. Ryder was the one driving for speed and convenience. When we got to the area, I looked around. It was a gray building with 5 branches and an open courtyard. We would need to go in, navigate the building with stealth, and find the captured PEP units. From there, we needed to get them out. I looked at Ryder. "Listen. This might be above your pay grade. I don't want to lose you like we lost Red. Are you really sure that you want to go in there!?" I asked. He nodded and said "You want to free them? I want to help you." We then both stepped over the threshold and started the mission. It was time to find a way for us to sneak inside.
