This was an android with orange hair and golden eyes. His skin was silver, and he looked like a really good Olympic sprinter. It was basically a Terminator. Not only was it a bullet sponge, but it could also liquify and move out of the way of attacks. I asked if they tried magic. "It's immune to fairy magic." Brett said. I tried to hit it with holy fire from above. It just dodged. We were able to hold on until a major police response was mobilized. The assassin did not seem to care about the interlopers. When all of the officers started dying, they got more and more aggressive in their attempts to take him down. Nothing they did worked. Even the SWAT team was obliterated. At some point, we had to call it quits. Paul and Brett took a hold of my arms and we teleported to the cab depot. Sunny, Lucy, Ryder, Claire and Sparks were there. It was at the end of the day, so they were no longer driving. "We need to bunker down in the clan building." Brett said. "We need to move! Now!" I said as we rushed. They found our urgency compelling. We went together. In the main hall, the cyborgs got in the X-frames.
Alexis and Alex limped into the main hall a few hours later. I was shocked at the sight of them. They were bleeding and their bodies were riddled with bullets. Looking at a sight like this was harrowing. Their very disfigured bodies told me that they were now on their last legs. They got into their X-frames to get ready to fight as well. Both of them had to be under 10 HP. Once they were inside, they looked at Paul and Brett. "Who the hell was that!? I can't believe that anyone could be so strong. He just would not die!" Alexis demanded. Alex said "We had to play dead until he left." I wondered if Red, Maroon and Katie were also doing the same thing at the Red Grind. There was nothing we could do about the terminator. I looked at Paul and Brett. "We need to find Anarchy Assembly's headquarters now. That's the only way we can end this!" I told them. Paul just rolled his eyes. "I'll do one better for you. I can't believe we let this go on for so long." he said. He grabbed both of our heads. I then checked my menu and saw the relation with the syndicate had changed. It was now just stuck at neutral.
Because of that, we would not need to worry about them coming after us. I left the main hall and went to the lab. I got the health pack and brought it for Alex and Alexis. I knew that they needed it regardless of whether there was still a threat. They deployed it immediately. We all were able to gain health by standing in the warm glow. That was pretty cool. When they were all healed up, they could leave the X-frames. It was like they had never been damaged. "Let's go back to the Red Grind. We have to look for Red, Maroon and Katie." "Are you crazy!? That guy is still out here. You'll die!" Alexis said. "Even still, we can't leave them behind." I told them. Alex grabbed my arm. He really did not want me to go. "I know Red is dead! He was dancing at the time and got lit up by that assassin." I looked at him and said "If it's found out that Red was a PEP unit, people will begin to ask questions. They might even come for you guys because they suspect you. We have to clear the bodies and clean up the blood quickly." I went up and made my way to the Red Grind. I loudly called for Maroon and Katie.
Calling out was the right thing to do. I heard some gurgling from behind the bar and saw some sparks fly from where the door to where the backstage area was. I went to the bar first because it was closer to me. Maroon was in agony as his face and throat were torn open, He must have taken a missile or a shot gun to the face. Blue viscera was on the floor next to him. His fingers and legs were still moving and twitching. I guessed that he was still alive enough. I then went over to the sparks and saw Katie on the floor. Her legs an half her right arm had been blown off. There was also a large crater in her chest. She looked at me in pain. I just picked her off of the floor and took another health pack out. I brought her over to Maroon and used the pack. They got their health back and I could see some of the superficial damage being erased. I looked at the stage and saw Red in a heap. I moved closer. It was clear that he was dead. "Fuck!" I sighed. When the health pack was done, they had health, but major damage was still there. I had to drive them to the depot. We put them in the X-frames.
