As Sarah and Amber got out of the car after they'd parked at the mall, Jon thought to himself, "just in case there's anything I need to fix, I want the stone as ready as it can be." As he slid out of the car, Jon shoved his right hand in his pocket, and decided to constantly keep his hand on the stone. It would also ensure that the stone would not get lost.
The three walked to the mall entrance, where another two girls were waiting for them. Tracy and Karyn. Jon didn't realize they were the other part of the group at first because he didn't know Tracy all that well, and, well, he just didn't recognize Karyn in the denim miniskirt she was wearing, or with all that makeup, although he had to admit to himself that the changes were improvements.
As Sarah, Amber, and Jon got closer, Karyn called out "Food court?"
"Food court!" Sarah and Amber replied in unison, and the first destination was decided upon.
"Whose idea was it to put a lunch period at 11:15 AM, anyway?" asked Tracy.
The four girls continued chatting and giggling, but Jon didn't pay attention. His mind was on other things...
