The priest continued, saying "Elijah, you don't need to feel sad about anything you see. You know what you are doing. All you have to do is pray for wisdom and walk the path your consciousness tells you to follow." Elijah just nodded his head. He felt slightly better and then continued with his confession. There were other minor infractions that he could get off of his chest. After he was done, he left the booth quietly and made his way back to the frat house. Half of the members were still asleep when he got in. It was a little more than half an hour later than he normally returned from the chapel. Elijah was more at ease than he was the day before. In that sense it was a well spent use of his time. As he was hungry, he poured himself a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. He decided to sit down on the couch and play some videogames before another frat brother could use the system. He was going to play some football as he ate his cereal. By eating and making plays, his mood rose substantially. There were members of the frat that came down and watched him. He was cheered when he won.
Greg came to him and wanted to play against him. They went several rounds, and it was clear that Greg was slightly better. He was simply the better man at the running plays. Elijah could try to keep up with field goals and passes, but he was not good enough to catch Greg's team. The players ran circles around him. Elijah only won 2 out of the 5 games. After that, he passed the controller over to another brother in the fraternity and watch them play. The others also wanted to play. At the end of the day, the one that reigned supreme in the end was Mike. He was able to overwhelm the others and win against everyone else. Mike gloated and everyone cheered as he played. He was bragging a lot and making jokes. Although the ones he played against got annoyed pretty quickly with the trash talk. They decided to play other games after that. Elijah was able to bait the others into playing a snowboarding game. He was able to dominate them by doing lots of tricks and using them to have a big speed boost. The others were far behind by the time he was done. They went to dinner together.
It was good to have time together to eat. They commandeered a whole table for themselves and sat together. The dining hall was serving a broad selection of things. A meal plan meant that you could get what you wanted from the dining hall. The choices were usually all good, but there were things that a guy like Elijah enjoyed more. It came down to personal taste. He had the salmon over white rice served with broccoli. It was something that he knew tasted good and he was in the mood for some fish at the moment. Others had steak or chicken. One even got slices of pizza for dinner. They brought it back to the table and began eating. They had a good time. That was until a drunken idiot came into the hall and made a nuisance of himself. The fraternity members were content to watch and laugh. When the drunk threw up, a woman came over to help him up. He apparently took that as a threat. He yelped and flinched back. That made him fall on his ass. She just sighed and tried to hold out a hand to him. She said "C'mon." He jumped up and shoved her to the ground. "You want a fight!?" he snapped.
