Karyn looked very different indeed. She was not a she anymore. She was now a teenage boy, who looked like he could have been Karyn's fraternal twin brother had Karyn had one. He looked sort of like the male equivalent of the normal, pre-wish Karyn. Okay looking, but average.
"I'm a guy!" Karyn said. "How ... did this happen? What did my other self do?"
"Let's ask the stone." Jon said. With that, he grabbed the wishing stone, and made a wish.
"I wish that Karyn and I would know just what wishes the Karyn of this reality made before we switched bodies with our counterparts from this reality."
And instantly, the knowledge poured into the two boys' heads. Both of them flashed back to a time shortly after Jon had introduced Karyn to the stone.
Karyn gasped. "Remember how I was wondering just what those boys who followed Sarah around saw in her? I ... my other self ... said 'I wish I were a boy so I could know just what it is boys see in her.' And that's when I changed..."
Jon shuddered. "You're not ... attracted to Sarah, are you?"
Karyn paused. "I ... don't know. But I know what they see in her now that I'm a guy. She's got a hot bod, and many guys are willing to overlook her bitchy personality because of it. Some might think they can get her to be nice to them and save the bitchiness for their enemies."
"So now what do we do?" Jon asked. "Do we try to change you back? Do we try to go back to our original reality and our previous bodies? Do we leave things as they are for a while and see what happens?"
"I don't know, Jon." Karyn said. "We'd better think about this."
