Her having Kenny's back made him look at her. He was a bit conflicted with this. On one hand, he was comforted that someone that could be trusted with this task was going to be his direct back up. On the other, All the Davids sisters were Alphas that like to bully the boys. She even strongarmed him earlier in the week. That could really go bad if she tried to undermine his authority. "Well, I guess that we'll be going to the airport together in the morning then. I hope you get your rest. If your toy doesn't keep you up all night, I'll be surprised." he said pointedly. She rolled her eyes. "If anything happens, we will go with your method of discipline." she dismissed. "That Ian boy you carried in?" Swift asked her. She smirked and said "He's a bratty guy, but he's great in bed. I think I'll keep him around for a while." "That's my girl." he praised. It was a moment of genuine affection between father and daughter that Kenny appreciated. Rose looked at Kenny. "When am I going to meet the girl in your life? Back on the island, boys your age would already be engaged if not married." she asked. He sighed.
It was clear that she expected him to have a partner. A female one at that. There was one way to get around that. "Maybe I'll find one in Kucen." he said. The symbiotes could be either gender at will. As Blaze, Wendelin, Orion and Geralt would be his retainers on their, it would be easy to fabricate a lover. Yvette would be coming along as well. She was a female presenting symbiote. That could work out greatly for him. She had already pledged herself as her new pet. Just like Ian had become for Rachel. It was certainly an option. The servants came told them that dinner was ready. Everyone was brought to the dining table. It happened to be Rachel's favorite meal. A plate full of steak and potatoes was served. Rose said "I can never get over the fact people here think that this is a simple meal." "Where we came from, only the lords of the castle could serve this regularly." Swift agreed with her as he swirled the wine in his goblet. "Would you rather have had venison or fish?" Kenny asked. "We certainly do eat it here. Funny thing is, that is considered "exotic" here." Swift answered with a smile.
As that was the natural end of the conversation, the others felt no need to continue it. The symbiotes obviously had no opinion on the foods of other places to add. They had dinner together. It was going to be the last time that they would see their parents. With that being the case, they were reluctant to leave. It was then that Kenny got a call on his phone. He glared at the phone, but he had to answer it. It was the head researcher. He looked at the table longingly and reluctantly said "Sorry. I have to take this call. I will be back." He got up from the table and moved to the office. "I was having dinner with my family. What is it?" he snapped. There was a brief pause on the phone. "There is a car outside. You can send BrIanna, Yvette and Ian back. That is, if you can with your sister around." he said. "Rachel will be taking Ian with her. Yvette is with me." Kenny told him. The researcher gave a small chuckle. "Looks like Brianna is going to be left behind again. Bring her down when you're ready." he said before hanging up. Kenny sighed again and returned to the table. They asked what happened.
Kenny said "While it has been a good week with fine guests, it has now come to an end. It is time for our guests to leave. Can Geralt, Yvette and Brianna come with me now?" They rose from their seats without a fuss. "Well, it was a great time hosting you." Rose said. They smiled and thanked her. When the four of them got to the gate, they looked at Kenny. "Have I done something to make you angry?" Geralt said. He looked disappointed. "No. I have another mission for you." That piqued his interest. It was a sign of trust between them. "What do you want me to do?" he asked. Kenny put a firm arm on his shoulder. "My mother wants me to find a partner. A truly female partner. She wants to see me have kids of my own and we can't tell her a male like you can do that. Yvette has offered to be my pet, but I did not want to be unfair to you here. If you split now and combined with Yvette, you could be my partner." He immediately split apart. "Of course. I'm not going to give you up after all we did together. If you need a female now, it's going to be me. Not Blaze or Orion." he said. That was bold.
