Feeling anxious, Kenny got up and moved closer to Yvette. Watching and waiting was what made Kenny nervous. He was not confident in Yvette's skills to get this done right now. She could survive a whole lot of things. Kenny knew that much. Whether or not her she could kill Bishop Laverne was in question. After 10 minutes, the kid got out of the confessional. He was sulking about something. "He must have been assigned a really harsh penance or something." Kenny said out loud. Yvette shot up and went into the booth. It was her time to shine. All Kenny could do was wait for her to come out. It took 7 minutes before she got out. Kenny got up from his seat and locked eyes with her. He began walking for the exit and she did the same. Someone else got up and went inside of the booth. That was Kenny's cue to pick up the pace. It took less than a minute before the woman began screaming in terror and fell out of the booth. People began to surround her and ask her what was wrong. By that time, we were already leaving the cathedral. It was a quick jog to the car and Kenny drove off.
It was all over. All of the assassination targets were killed. Now he could go to replace the deceased bureaucrat as the Ambassador to Kucen, the coastal nation closely allied to Cadini. Kenny wondered what happened. If it was a case of foul play, he would have to bring the ones responsible to justice. Obviously, an international incident could lead to war. Kenny needed to be careful. Both with his safety and his navigation of foreign politics. He had to wonder what he was going to have to do. Kenny had his 4 retainers that he could rely on to protect him. Persephone, Rosalie and Ian were in the flasks stored in the cases. Someone would come get it from him at some point. It was much like the first time he had to flee the country. "Have you decided if you wanted a pet or not? I still want to be your pet." she said as she turned to Kenny, breaking him from his thoughts. He asked her why. "Last time, it was you who saved me and Brianna." He looked at her and said "If you want to come, that's fine. You've behaved yourself pretty well. When I go to Kucen, you're coming with me." she smiled.
Getting back to the mansion, he got to spend more time with his mother and Swift. Yvette went to play with the other symbiotes. It was then that he told them that he was going to be leaving the country soon to take the vacant post of Ambassador. Swift smiled at him. Kenny's long tail swished back and forth when he ruffled his hair. "My son, are you sure that you're going alright out there? Davie has 6 of his sons with him. You are going to be all alone." Rose said. She looked really concerned for him. As her son, Kenny wanted to reassure him. He took her hands in his and looker her in the eyes. "I am going to be okay, mother. It's fine. You can even come and visit me whenever you want to." he said. "Another kid's leaving the nest. It's crazy how things work." Swift said as he slapped Kenny on the back. Rachel and Ian came down and she looked at him. She asked "You're going off somewhere? They really have you working like a dog." Kenny told her about his new position. Her eyes widened. "That's my new assignment. I am going to be the new ambassador's bodyguard." she said.
