She found herself singing in a beautiful contra alto. The magic of the note was channeling the magic Athena would have preformed, and turning it into something that could be used on stage. She might still cast a spell over the audience but it was going to be with acting talent, not with magic itself.

This caused to things, first off, she loved the way her voice sounded, and she loved the song she was singing, so she went a bit longer than would be considered appropriate for a school hallway, she oddly didn't care if people heard. The second thing was it made her stop and think about what she was doing. She wasn't thinking about really being a goth, she was thinking about what it would be like to play a goth. To more or less dress up in her old life, and make a drama out of it. She was thinking about the tragedy of the lost of her old life, and how she could play that out on stage. She wasn't thinking like her old self anymore, and she didn't know how to get back to that.
