Athena was growing annoyed with Nadine. Everyone seemed to think they were great friends, and Athena found herself wishing that Nadine was the person people were telling her about. She sounded great...or at least less annoying than the Nadine she had to deal with normally.
She didn't like people who thought everyone who should be like them. If Nadine wanted to believe in...well, all the things she did, Athena didn't care until Nadine started trying to make her believe in it.
They'd failed to find any more sticky notes or their source, and had finally given up...not permanently. Athena had pointed out, still trying to get Nadine's goat, that if she tried to go against the wish it might fight back. It wasn't true, or she didn't think it was true, but Nadine thought of her as the expert on all things occult, so the girl had gone off to hide somewhere.
It was thus ironic that Athena, walking the halls, noticed one of the notes hidden on a bulletin board around similarly colored pieces of paper. She couldn't stop herself from reading it.
"I wish I would become a part of the next group of people I see," Athena said. She then crumpled up the note and covered her eyes. She had to find Zoe, or Zelda...or one of her friends. That would defeat the spell.
She had to keep from looking at anyone.
