Sarah lay in the nurse's office, drinking water and eating some butter cookies the woman had offered her.
"The problem is calories. You and your kind," the nurse said,"you diet till you're sick. You exercise too much and you starve yourselves. Those Atkins diets tell you to increase your starch content over time, and you ignore it, till you suffer from malnutrition."
Sarah couldn't disagree that she felt weak and dizzy. "What should I do?"
"Eat more! You don't have to be a pig, but eat more. Stop eating like a bird. Eat like a growing teenager," the nurse said.
Sarah laid back, still feeling weak as the nurse wrote her out some instructions for a higher fat diet.
