Pausing outside, David had choses to make. He had to decide whether or not to take the peaches with him as fellow novices. Even beyond that, it was going to be a big hassle to determine which of them to take if he did want any of them to back him up. As they were idling, a man passed them by. Doing a double take, he paused and said "You guys are apprentices, correct?" They all nodded. "I need some hands to help me out with my forge. There's been an... accident and I need some novice to assist me." "Who are you?" Chris asked with a frown. "I'm Damien Bretoni, humble silversmith of Babi City." he said with a nod and bow. Jimmy shrugged and said "I was just about to go visit a blacksmith's forge. Sorry." David nodded and said the same thing. The man hissed and said "Where the hell am I going to find new apprentices now!?" David looked at the peaches. "Are any of you going to go with him? I think he needs the help." "What's in it for us?" Alec asked him. The man blinked. "What else is there? Room and board. A chance to become a fully recognized silversmith. That's all."
Quietly they looked at each other none of them were convinced. Mr. Bretoni scowled and said "As a member with the rank of master, I can just as easily make it harder for you to find anyone else. Even kicking you out altogether would not be too hard." It was a really desperate threat coming from him. He really needed people to assist him in his work quickly for some reason. Chris and Quinn were not having any of it. Quinn simply said "Fuck off! You don't scare us." Chris showed him his back and bent over, showing the man his ass. "I'll go with you. If you eat my ass first that is!" he yelled was a slap of his perky butt. Everyone was flabbergasted. Mr. Bretoni glared at them and said "Fine. If you two brats are the lewd type, I'll tame you both and then get some work done after all." The peaches were shocked and looked at him. "Do not look at me. You're the ones that said it. Come with me. If I can't eat your asses right, you can just leave." the master said with all seriousness. David nodded and said "I agree with Mr. Bretoni. He's right. You need to go with him." They were upset, but obeyed.
Readily dragging them off by the arms, Mr. Damien Bretoni took Quinn and Chris away to be the newest novices of his. That was 3 of the peaches taken care of. There were 9 of them and he could only have 5 in a party. It was not enough. Meaning that he would have to get at least one more of them to go somewhere before David could take the others with him to where he was going. Where ever that might be. That was when he had an idea. He pulled Bitey and Wendy aside from the rest. He looked at both at them in the eyes. Both of them were very attentive to him. They wanted to know what it was he would say. "Since I'm going to lay low as a smith, I still need someone who can fight for me if a problem pops up. I want you two to join the assassin's guild and rise through the ranks. That way I can call on you if I even need something. Can you do this for me?" he requested. They both nodded. "We'd do anything for you." Bitey said. Wendy added "We will be the best assassins in the whole city before you know it." David just nodded. They then began walking off to find it.
