Karyn grabbed the rock out of his hand and held up the paper. "I wish everything I wrote on this paper was true."
The rock flashed. Jon had been about to suggest that they go over the wishes one by one together, but now it was too late.
"Ooh, wow, it worked," said Karyn, looking down at herself. She was now wearing a tight pink minidress, the top a deep "V" revealing tanned cleavage that looked bigger than before, a diamond-shaped cutout revealing a silver charm dangling from a pierced navel. Her blonde hair, now wavy instead of straight, fell down to her knees. Her face was fully made up, her eyelashes longer and thicker, her lips larger and a glossy pink color. Her fingernails were long and manicured with white tips.
"What did you do --" asked Jon, reaching for the piece of paper and the rock, when he suddenly stopped and looked down at himself. He was now wearing a black tank top and jeans, showing off that his arms were darkly tanned, with visible muscle. His torso was definitely beefier -- he lifted up the bottom hem of the shirt to reveal that his abdominal muscles were now a six-pack. He dropped the shirt and looked up at Karyn.
"I wanted to thank you for the rock," she said, and then grinned. "And do a little something for myself at the same time." She licked her lips, and Jon saw that there was a silver stud through her tongue.
Jon grabbed the piece of paper from her. "I wish skimpy, sexy clothes would just magically appear on me whenever I wanted them to," he read aloud.
"You know how much I hate to shop!" exclaimed Karyn. "And do my hair and my makeup and my nails, and shave --"
"You really wanted your hair that long?"
"Yeah, isn't it hot?" Karyn asked. "And since I don't have to worry about styling it or even drying it --"
"Okay, okay," mumbled Jon. "Permanent tan, no burn." He got to the next item and looked up at Karyn again, a little shocked. "Tattoos?"
"Just a couple," she said. "Can't wait to see what they look like. Especially the tramp stamp. Those are so hot. And magic is the best way to get tattoos -- and piercings. No pain or anything!"
Jon rolled his eyes and went back to the paper, finding the description of himself ("tanned, muscle-bound stud who looks like he should model for romance novel covers"). At least he'd put an out clause in the wish he'd made about Karyn last night, so he'd be able to return things to normal.
No. That wish was only about Karyn's personality. All the physical things she'd just now changed about herself, and about him, those were gonna be -- holy crap.
He quickly ripped the piece of paper in two, hoping something would happen.
