"No need to join me, I know what book I have to check. I realized we made a mistake though. Jons stone is not on his desk anymore and it will be very obvious to him that you or I have it. It's probably easier for you to explain it to him than for me, so can you call him real quick?" Athena told Zoe.
They were both standing in the school library and Zoe looked forward to find out more about this mystery, but now that she had to deal with her brother, she was slightly annoyed though.
"Ugh... I don't even have his number."
"Seriously?! He's your brother, sometimes it's just hopeless with you." Athena shook her head.
"I mean, he's such a fucking normie. Never thought we'd ever deal with each other outside of the usual, you know?"
"Doesn't matter now. He's coming for you either way, make sure you are where he would be looking for you. We need to have that sorted out quickly."
"Ugh fuck. Alright...", Zoe said annoyed and stomped away.
"So, this is it. Let's see what you found out Sherwyn." Athena said and placed book and stone in front of her.
"What's that you're having there?", a voice came from behind. It was Zelda Whitefield, a friend of hers. She stretched out her arm and just grabbed the stone before Athena could even react.
"Oh my god, Zelda.... you startled me. Could you please put that back down?"
Zelda looked at Athena dumbfounded and then back to the stone in her hand. She was a cybergoth and was far more snarky than Zoe or Athena.
"You tell me what it is first. You and some lame old stone, never!" Zelda replied flipping the stone from one hand to her other.
"I have no time for this, put it down on the table. Now!"
"Oh, wow... you're serious about this shit." Zelda snickered with a grin and avoided Athena trying to grab the stone.
"Zelda, please... I will tell you later. I'm trying to find something out here.", Athena said frustrated.
"Ugh... you guys are always avoiding to include me with your shit. You are not so different from all those normies after all."
This was when Athena realized the danger of the moment, Zelda was holding a wishing stone in her palm and was angered.
"Zelda, calm down. This is no joke, so don't do or say anything rash? I will tell you, alright?"
"What the fuck are you talking about? Why is everyone like this?! Can't you just come clean for once? I'm always the one left in the dark, wether it's with you guys or everyone else... Am I so different?! God, I just wish...
