Quietly, I looked around, there was a bed and a place to put my things. There certainly was a lot of space. There were multiple decks for me to decorate and there was a telescope for me to use. I could make use of it. Sontar just looked at me until I addressed him. "Why have you come here, human? Surely, you could use your strength to your advantage and do well for yourself in a human settlement." I just shrugged my shoulders. "I just wanted to know what it was like. That was all it was." Sontar did not look satisfied by the answer. His face changed as he came closer to me. He was smiling as he took my hand in his. Sontar slowly rubbed circles with his thumb into the back of my hand. It felt very nice. He was obviously changing up his tactics. "You rescued me and my brother today. You have our gratitude for that." he said. I said "You let me stay in your home. It was the least I could do." He looked at me. "Do you find me attractive?" he asked. I nodded. He smiled and leaned into my personal space to whisper in my ear. "I don't mind entertaining you here for the evening if you tell me."

Really not interested in getting onto it with him, I said "There's really nothing else to say." He sucked his teeth and said "I don't understand. You obviously have nothing against rutting around with me. Is it a human sensibility? As someone who wants to be an elf, you should drop the prudishness." "Maybe if you were more charming. You haven't said my name once since I've been here." I smirked. He said "Why would we when we had no idea whether or not you'd be staying with us?" Sontar asked as if that solved everything. I looked at him. "So what is my name, Sontar?" I questioned him. He and his brother were both there when I told the elders my name. He just blinked at me. "If you really don't want to share your true intentions, that is fine. Do not expect anyone to trust you though." the elf raider said before leaving. I just let him go. I was not going to be getting anywhere with a guy anyway. The next day, Ayred came and got me. "David, come with me. This is important." he said with an excited look on his face. I asked what was going on. I wondered what could be going on.

If it was dumb, I would be upset. "Today is a feast to celebrate the successful raiding. You're just as important as anyone else in the group." That was nice to hear. I was also going to be honored. I smiled as I followed him to the center of the village. There were lights and decorations hanging from the trees. Several elves called out to him from a distance. He pat me gently on the back. "I am going to revel with them for a while. Don't exhaust yourself too much. We're going to be having a meeting on who we should attack next after the meal, David. Look forward to that." he told me before wandering off to enjoy himself. That was fine with me. I could see how Kearie Clan elves partied. As the party went on, I walked around to see what they were doing. Several of the elves came up to me to help me get in the festive mood. The offered me flower crowns, a wooden sword carved with filament and floral designs, a festive green tunic which I equipped right away, and some drinks they made. They tasted like honey and candy. I was really enjoying myself. We were then called for the feast.

Since the raiders were the honored group, there was a table with 11 seats. 2 of them had the crowns with 2 arrows crossed in and X. That was done to mark them as not being here with us currently. We we were served first and it tasted very good. I was a Player, and therefore did not need to eat. I still made sure I ate a good amount. The taste and texture of the recently hunted game was much to good to pass on. There was also berry wine to wash it all down with. I remembered that we still had business to take care of. After the meal, the elves went back to the party. The village chief, the elders, and the raiders all moved to the dwelling of the chief. It also served as the venue for village meetings. "You all have done well. Not in many generations have we had such a powerful and capable raiding group. This is all done thanks to your efforts. You have all of our thanks." The eldest of the elders said. It was my detractor." The chief then looked at us and smiled. "The topic at hand is to determine which of the tribes we will attack. The raids were child's play compared to a skirmish for territory."
