Only one of them had dissented on having me stay here. "That is ridiculous! You cannot be one of us. I simply will not allow it!" he snapped. The female elder looked very uncomfortable. "I must agree. You may reside here and live among us, but you may not become a Kearie Clan elf. We are much too proud to lessen what it means to be an elf." she said. Ayred and Sontar were also uncomfortable. Ayred still made an effort to defend me. "Please don't blame him. As a human, he doesn't know much about what is appropriate." he said. I shrugged and said "I still want to be an Arcane Archer. Teach me to do that." They did not let me do that either. I needed to be an elf. I just pouted from my frustration. "I thought I could ask for a boon. You just said that I deserved one." I snapped in annoyance. Rolling his eyes, the elder said "I also cannot give you the moon and stars. You can ask us for anything reasonable." "Fine. I want a house of my own that's bigger than all the others." I told them. They calmed down and agreed to it. They then left us. I shook my head. Things were not going too well.

I just had to wait until we were ready to go on the final raid. I was going to do my best to make sure that everything went well. I still had the having a kid plan. It took us another few days, but they got ready. We all went straight north and it was much farther than the other clans by far. Once we got there, we announced ourselves. These elves were not playing around. They had metal armor as well as steel weapons. This was going to be a problem. As much as we were amped up by the previous raids and affirmation of the villagers, the raiders were having trouble. This was a bit more than they could deal with. I had to brawl with several of these well-armed guards to get them off of the Kearie Clan elves. They were simply getting tossed around. I leveled up to level 40 during the raid. I put it into strength to help me out here in this fight. Even then, I was pretty low on health and needed to back off. The retreat signal went off and some of them were leaving with small trinkets. Ayred and Sontar were still pinned down with some of the others. Guards surrounded them. I had to free them.

People would not be able to say I did not try. I barreled into them and said "Run! Get out of here!" They got the hint and picked up the loot they had. I rescued a good 5 of them. Now they were after me. I gave them the run around so that they could get clear. After they were all gone, I made a mad dash to flee their village as well. I had personally picked up random stuff and it was time to get it back to the Kearie Clan. They pursued me pretty far. It was a multitude of calls of "Stop human!" and "You will pay for this!" that echoed behind me. I had gotten away with it and it made me feel pretty good. When I got back to our village, they cheered for me. Even with me giving all the extra distraction, we had lost 2 raiders. They would probably be sent to their prison for a bit. I walked directly up to the elders. "This was the third raid. I want my big dwelling now." I said. They looked at me. I looked at them back. Eventually, the female said "Yes we have prepared one for you. Sontar can show it to you." He led me to a big tree on the outskirts of the village. "Wow, human. This one is really big."
