As I got all of the targets, they let me take the class. Being a Sharpshooter gave me more damage on ranged attacks and lower reload time. Sneak damage usually did 2 times as much damage. As a Sharpshooter, the bonus was actually 3.5 times now. Accuracy and crit chance went up as well. The downside was that the actual stats for close quarters combat went down. It was to promote game balance. With that being the case, I was already ready to be an Arcane Archer. I needed just needed to get some elven lineage in me somehow. After a few more days of training, we were gathered up in the center of the village. We were getting another raid together. This time was going to be different. Their target was now the Traric Clan. Ralora Clan was to the northwest from the village. Traric Clan was actually to the northeast. I was going along as I needed to rack up experience and more raids for their actual approval. It appeared that this clan was the poorest and smallest. They were closest to the edges of the forest facing human civilization for this reason. That was actually good for me.

Joining a smaller clan would be easier. Their standards for entry would be lower than the stronger clans with a large population. Especially if they actually wanted to grow their numbers with fresh blood. The trick would be to join a low status clan and then hard carry them to the top of the forest. I was close to level 40 due to the glitch and a raid would be the perfect venue for showing off my strength. Ayred and Sontar were here as well. We needed to go and make sure we got the medical supplies that they had. The Traric Clan specialized in their healers. With the supplies that they had we could look out for our elves if they got hurt better. We were off and they led me to their village for the raid. I was going to fight the guards and they were going to smash and grab. It sounded like a plan. Our raid was a go. They announced themselves with a scream and the fighting began. I was punching out all the guards that they sent my way. Ayred and Sontar had lots of potions and alchemical ingredients in all their arms. The retreat signal was made and we left. The second raid was a great success.

Kicking up a fuss about the raids was not going to be much of a problem. They were not going to dignify outright attacking the weakest clan amongst them. Kearie Clan was the weakest clan in the forest that I could see. All of them were much more likely to just smack down and attempt to overtake them. However, after enough successful raids, they would definitely try to expand and push back against the other clans. I was not able to tell because I was not part of any of the clans. Once I was, I could probably try to influence them into wars. We were technically "at war" with all of them. However, they were not going to really fight another faction unless they were sure that they would win that fight. When we got back to our village, they were pretty happy with us. Apparently, they don't get back-to-back successes. It was due to me joining them. I was level 30 already and their guards were not that high leveled. Maybe the clans deeper in the forest had elves that were stronger. As long as we were in the minor leagues, I would be able to help them out. We were cheered on by villagers.
