My profile said that I was a high school student. Everything could wait until I got to the academy. I had a letter of transfer and the uniform on my body. I asked people on the street where I could find the academy. They pointed it out to me and I followed their instructions to the best of my ability. I was able to get there in under an in-game hour. I smoothed out my uniform and held my form in my hands. A guard came up to me and saluted. I returned the salute before handing it to him. He looked at it before giving a terse nod. If he was annoyed, I could not see it on his face. "Follow me." he said. I followed him wordlessly. We walked to the school building. When we reached a classroom on the fourth floor, he knocked on the door and waited a moment. When the door opened, we walked in. I stood in front of the classroom. They all looked at me with interest. It was a class with thirty desks. Only one desk was empty. It was the second from the front and by the window. Not quite the main character's seat, but it was damn close to it. Everyone was looking at me. I took a breath and introduced myself.
The female teacher looked at me and said "You have arrived just in time for our math test. You have an hour to answer 100 questions. Okay?" I nodded and sat down. I was given a pencil and an eraser. She administered the test to us and we all got to work. As I looked at it, a mini game appeared. The test was just a series of single digit operations that flashed before me. I finished in half the time and was the first to be done. The teacher approached me and asked if something was wrong. I submitted the test to her. She took it with a raised eyebrow. It was obvious she thought it was going to be a fail. She went to the front of the room and ran it through a machine. It took a minute to be read. She looked at it with surprise. The teacher then handed it back to me. I got a 94% on the test. Since that was a full A on the test, I smiled and looked out of the window next to me. Some of the other classes were in the yard doing an exercise routine. Others were running laps. Gym class. When class ended, it was time for lunch. Lots of students crowded around me. They congratulated me on my high score and asked to know more about me.
As I asked around, I saw that this was a junior class. They were going to get the results of their secondary gender tests from the nurse at the end of the week. That did a bit of work for me. It meant that everyone here was on the same playing field gender-wise. It would charge when they got the results back, of course. It was something they were all talking about. There were 6 rows of 5 to make 30 students in this class. It was surprisingly very proportional to the overall population of the country. There were 10 Blaqis, 8 Nudria and 7 Osis. There were 3 other Ganes besides me to make 4. The last seat was taken by an Asela boy. As time went on, I could tell that I was being sized up by the Blaqis, Nudria and Osis. Because of that, I hung out with the Ganes and the Asela. He was surprised as he was the bread shuttle of the class. The bigger Osis bullies pushed him around and made them fetch all their snacks at lunch time. They also stole his money for things they wanted. He was the only one in his class of his ethnicity, so everyone watched as it happened. I made sure to be nice to him.
Being an interference to the way things were the Osis got on my case. Out of the 7, 5 of them were guys. They tried to give me shit too. There was no way I was going to be bullied by an NPC. Fighting would get me some good amounts of exp. Fights did not happen though. I got backed up by the other 2 male Ganes in class. They were also a bit on the wimpy side, but it was a numbers game. They did not want to fight if they were not sure they could dominate. Even if they had the advantage in a 5-4 fight. Because of that, the bread shuttle deal was essentially done. He looked grateful for that. It was all in a day's work for me. Fighting was my goal. That did not work so I would probably have to wait until the secondary genders revealed themselves. The other Ganes were Ivan Bohanon and Allen Roland. The quiet Asela we rescued was named Amias Emmitt. Hopefully, he would be a useful ally later on. The bullies were Silas Peters, Abimael Clement, Abner Tomkin, Myles Reed and Absalom Erwin I learned. There was a time when I got jumped after school by them when I was alone though.
