Melissa looked at him. "You're really acting weird today, Gar. The only people in school who believe in magic are losers like Goths and Nerds."
"Why are they the losers? I'm the one you think is stupid..." Gar said bitterly.
"I don't know what's up with you, but don't take it out on me," Melissa said, turning away in annoyance.
Gary paused...something suddenly occurring to him. Everyone he'd met suffering from this problem had a counterpart...someone whose life they were slowly changing to.
Which meant there was someone out there who, knowingly or unknowingly, had gone to bed as a teenager and woken up as a parent. He wondered if finding them would help. Or how he even could.
