Sally nodded. "I'll have a latte please" she said.
Alex nodded. "Coming right up" he said as he got up to order their drinks.
"So far" Sally thought to herself. "this is going well. You've got this girl."
"So, you're in real estate?" He asked, returning with their drinks.
"Yes...the hours are flexible...and I have a daughter...it gives me time with her. Her father...doesn't live in town." She paused, afraid it would scare him off.
"I have two of my own, to be honest," he said. "It scares a lot of people off, doesn't it?"
She laughed, relaxing. "Yes, it does...but I don't lie about it, you know?"
