Your new name," the letter read, "is Jenny Ann Rosch. You are thirty-five years old. You are a mother of two, a twelve and a six year old."
Jon stopped reading, flipped through the other pages. There was no mention of a father anywhere in the brief -- which, in one way, was a relief -- but, in another, it was terrible. He had no idea how to do any of this.
Cringing, he went back to the first page. The letter explained that all new identification would be provided for him, in Jenny's name, and that he was no longer to answer to his old one. He was also expected to dress and act like appropriately at all times, using the clothing provided in the house, as well as other objects in the box. FemCorp representatives would be watching through hidden cameras and microphones to ensure his compliance.
Jon was about to go through the rest of the box, when he realized he was all alone in the house. Where was this family he was supposed to be tending to?
