Dear sweet Nadine, the good Christian girl, at first I thought lets be nice to her, and I gave her a Guardian Angel she could see and speak with and they solved mysteries together on CBS. As soon as I saw the pilot I knew, no, this doesn't work, I'm bored. So I hired a demon to kill that angel and take it's place and whisper sin in her ear, try and give her an edge. This was interesting, but she figured it out pretty quickly and the concept didn't have legs, I wanted to get more than a season run out of this girl. So she banished him to hell, and that made me think maybe we could do a Buffy the Vampire slayer thing with her, but religion based, since that is so important to the character, but then it hit me. She cares about God, she cares about her faith, we've already exposed her to the spiritual world, let's introduce her to God. Only problem is, God doesn't take meetings, he prefers to summon you, rather than the other way around. We told her he didn't want to meet, she seemed a little hurt, but understood I think overall, it didn't change anything. She's like Job, you can' shake her. it's very vexing, it's like she refuses to be interesting.
With this in mind, we've put out a bounty on her faith wise in the ether, any being who can shake her faith, be it Greek God, monster, Alien interdimensional being, lord of hell, Fairy creature, or teenage bitch, won't die when they are supposed to. I know that doesn't seem like much, but think of it as having a 1up when you are about to go, and you'll see it's value.
There is now a line of tricksters, heroes, Gods, gods, demigods, and demons all waiting to take a crack at Nadine's faith with offers, adventures, temptations, revelations, blessings, and curses.
I really don't care what happens at this point, she might get pulled apart from all sides, she might stand up to all of them and finally get that meeting with God. I just hope it's interesting.
