Deep inside the nearly 300 pounds of flesh that makes up Gladys Brewer, easily the biggest girl the school has had in it's history, is actually a very in shape 5'6" girl of about 145 pounds with lots of lean muscle and a bright and sunny personality. This is because that 145 pound girl is caring around an alien symbiote which has now finally grown to outweigh even her, swelling her in size and girth so that chairs are beginning to become an actual problem for her. The thing swallows her and speaks to her, because having been nurtured by Gladys for years it's almost time for it to evolve, which has Gladys a little scared, from her perspective her weight is a childhood imaginary friend that took hold of her and which now grown mean, forcing more and more food down her through and whispering dark thoughts to her. The symbiote knows that if it can get Gladys to give in, to give up, if Gladys dies, then the Symbiotic can consume the remains, gaining form and independence from it's host, while taking on her life as it's own, this is victory. If she does not die, if deformity, the pain of the weight, and exhaustion do not set in then the symboite has to leave and become something on it's own, like trying to build a building with no scaffolding, it would be revealed to be the monster it is, and be killed by a mob.
Gladys gets up every morning, a voice in her head telling her to stay down. She goes to class. She endures it all. But today she smiled less than she did yesterday.
