The teen's eyes began to light up...literally. Laura didn't know this, but it was the same light that Amy had seen...that was now inside her.
The light shot out from Amy's eyes and began to surround Laura. And then suddenly, sitting there in her place, was a teenage girl.
Amy got out and started to walk, Laura suddenly uninteresting to her. She was no longer worried about her parents. They wouldn't be a problem in her life for much longer.
