The girl in the oddly put together outfit narrowed her eyes. She was still under the effects of the syndrome, but she already believed certain things, and if she was going to stop believing them...she'd need more.
"What? What do you mean, not real?" She asked, confused.
"You're...I made you up..."
"Ha, ha...what's the joke?"
Sydney frowned, reaching out and touching the other girl. She was definitely solid. She looked confused.
Her imaginary friend stopped Ms. Finch, the librarian, who was passing by. "Excuse me, Ms. Finch. Will the library be open after school today?"
The woman paused. "Till 4, as usual on Tuesdays." She continued on her way.
"See? Real. Since when do you make weird jokes? Am I rubbing off on you?"
