They watched as a girl (perhaps around 12 years old) jumped up and down and waved her arms around. She was the one that was yelling. They listened to her, realizing that she was trying to warn people about the cloud. But no one was paying attention to her ... except for Kyla, Jay, Biff, and Sarah.
It was a table with some of her friends, Kyla realized. The ones she'd wanted to join up with. Melissa Smith, Amber Levine, and Erica Weber. But something...at the edge of her mind, seemed wrong about them.
The cloud seemed to become so thick that the none of them couldn't see the table even though it was only a few feet away. Then the cloud became translucent again...and headed toward Molly.
