Tina started to hurry after her, but tripped. She was getting to her feet when suddenly someone grabbed her arm.
It was a police officer, one with a tight grip on her arm. She suddenly became aware of her arm. It looked different.
"Come along, Chrissy. You know the Lieutenant told you that if you got caught shoplifting again...He took a chance on you cleaning up your act." the officer said. "What are you staring at?"
She didn't even hear him call her Chrissy, as opposed to Tina. This isn't happening... She told herself,
