"Come on," she said, heading toward the back door. He followed her. She opened the door. "Have fun," she said, before heading back to follow Linda.
Sydney didn't think much of Jon as she followed Linda out to the car. She was sure he was having fun in the backyard. She was more excited about where she was going...whereever that was. Linda even insisted she take a bag with her. It seemed to be full of interesting things.
Linda dropped her off at a strange place she'd never been to before, but seemed very interesting. She could see lots of people of all sorts wandering around. She sat on a bench and watched them for a bit, and looked through the bag.
There was a small card that said Learner's Permit on it. It had a picture of her on it. She was pleased that she was permitted to learn, she'd been enjoying it a lot so far. She also found a brush, tissues, a box of mints, and a square device with numbers on it...Sydney decided to hold onto all of it. It must all be useful for different things.
She began to wander around, watching people, somewhat curious.
