Mikey attached the leash to Jon's collar...a collar he hadn't even noticed was there until it was brought to his attention. He began to wonder if he was destined to spend the rest of his life as the family pet.
He tried talking to Mikey, but like his mother and sister, they didn't understand a word of it. And Mikey was not a soft touch with the leash. If Jon didn't keep up, he ended up being pulled.
Finally, he decided to give Mikey a taste of his own medicine. He started running at full speed, pulling Mikey along, and went for several blocks before stopping and turning to Mikey. So how does that feel?
Mikey was laughing. "Fine, you don't pull me and I won't pull you." It seemed, even if he couldn't talk to anyone, there were still ways to get his point across.
