A bunch of scrubs having god-tier weapons was not a good ideal long term. Taking it from their corpses would be too easy for any actual seasoned warrior. As soon as all of us split at the end of the party, I knew exactly what I was going to do. When they went to bed, I went to their homes and took all of the weapons back. The next day, I saw the panic in their eyes. They were frantically looking around for the weapons. I sighed as I decided to give the guys a bone. I sent out another letter and told them to meet me. I was in the centaur form with the Throne weapons in front of me. They saw the weapons and pointed it out. The leader wanted to make a claim on them. "It's our weapons! Why'd you take 'em!?" I just chuckled at them. "Good job on taking back the town. You are fine to use them, but I wanted to remind you that they all belong to me." One of the others said "What do you want for the weapons? We need them to protect the town." I said "Only 3 of you want to join the army. You guys can have the weapons. The others will get less." They begged me, but I was not hearing it.
Just because I was nice, I was willing to compromise with them. One of them could have the shield and one could have one the 3 spears. The rest would be staying with me. They were not happy about this, but there was not a single thing they could do. When the 3 were ready to move on, I gave them the other spears and the lance. The group had some idea where some other segments of the army was. I followed them as a centaur. Analim was with me. He was riding on my back. They had some issues with him, but I told them to drop it. They just dropped it in order to take the weapons. We went from town to town liberating the frontier. No one could stand up to our weapons and the humans were leveling up quickly. A makeshift camp was made outside of a larger city. It was obviously their intention to siege it down. We were able to destroy their organization with a few raids and skirmishes on them. Hit and run tactics worked really well for us. Eventually, the army of our empire was able to engage a disorganized army like them. We rode out and helped them. Analim never fought.
Killing off this army was just a drop in the bucket. They were a 3 prong force and this was only one of them. A group of soldiers did not like me and pointed their weapons at me. It made a lot of sense as I was a centaur. They had no frame of reference aside from me coming from the heavens. The young warriors did their best to vouch for me. It was barely enough and they let Analim and I in their camps and barracks with the others. Our army was a large group 4500 strong. There was an army for each of the cardinal directions the capitol and the frontier. That meant 27,000 men. We were going to do what we could to ensure this army won every battle. I decided to be their head medic and Analim did his best to keep morale high by doing art and singing for the soldiers. It did wonders. We were able to steamroll the enemy with the superior weapons, healing potential, and morale we had. We heard that the other 2 enemy armies were making gains on their theaters of war. That was a bit concerning. Another concern was the suspicion I was getting from the army. They did not really like me.
Living in the camp was hard. Xenophobes did their best to make my job harder than it needed to be. There were also some real perverts that wanted to fuck me. Since it was a real novelty and I was totally awesome, I could let it slide. Men and women both wanted to take a ride. After a few weeks in the camp, I could tell which of those followers had a genuine crush on me and who just wanted the sexual conquest. Most of them were the latter. Those who had actual feelings got a 1 night stand and that was it. None of the males were neither skilled enough to get me off nor virile enough to get me pregnant. I did not have either concern. The 3 women I slept with came many times and got pregnant. After that, I stopped giving them as much attention. We eventually were ordered to go down and cross the border into the enemy country. I could understand why. Taking ground and advancing on them made the likelihood of a surprise defeat less and less likely. Once we took the first few villages and towns, I got the popup saying I was being summoned. I told Analim to fly back to the capitol.
