Going about our days, Analim and I held our ears to the ground to see if there was any resistance between the townsfolk. The army was certainly egging them all on by stealing resources and harassing the nubile men and women. Their army was very inclusive with women, men and everything in between. Eventually, a group of 3 of the younger garrison members started going around looking for help. 2 of them had been harassed and abused by the enemies. I could tell that it was just their bruised egos and butts that were spurring them on. I would still be able to use that in my favor. I found out where they were meeting and told them to meet me somewhere in town at night. I found a blind spot in the rotation of the army's patrols. When they got there, I saw 5 young men with minimal training. They saw me in my centaur form. That way they would not be able to recognize my human forms. All of them were shocked until I calmed them down. I told them I was sent from the heavens to save them from the army. One of them even began to tear up. I told them that they had to listen to me.
Hemming and hawing over having to follow orders aside, they were on board. They wanted to do something to save their hometown. I told them all to meet back the next day and they agreed. I was in my Throne form. I had my 3 Celestium spears, a shield and a lance. I had made those weapons to help the rider. Obviously, I could not use it for myself. I left them a note and it told them to use me and the weapons to take back the town. With the width of the chariot, there was enough space for 2 people to ride me. One had a spear and the other took the lance. The leader took the shield and another spear. The other 2 got on me. One took the reigns and the other had the final spear. With all of that in tow, they were able to slaughter the occupying army. The weapons cut through their armor like a hot knife through butter. They were just too overpowered for the young warriors to be overcame. Once a couple of hours past, we had saved the town. The 5 were made local heroes. When they were taken in for carousing and celebration, I transformed and Analim gave me some new clothes.
I joined in on the party and we had a great time. We all drank and ate together merrily. All the others said they were great and heroes. Our young heroes were bashful to be heavily praised by their friends, family and neighbors. I was nodding along. They did deserve it in my opinion. They were the 5 who stood up and they were the ones who fought. "I still have a question. Where in the heavens did you get those weapons?" one of the townsfolk asked. It was a good question. They looked at each other before the leader told them about me. They did not believe them at first. As time went on, they had to acknowledge me a little bit. There was no way on this world that they could have the Celestium otherwise. They did not even know what the weapons were made of. When they went outside to show off the chariot, it was gone. I was in the venue already. One of the townsfolk asked what they were going to do next. That was something that I needed to hear too. The leader stood in front of the crowd and said he was going to join up with the army. He would kill all of the enemy soldiers.
