"Adapt to what? Tell me simply what you're going to do to me."
"Well, it is a complicated situation. With the recession, we need more tax dollars flowing in. If you were reallocated into...let's say a student who didn't speak English, then we could get extra funding for ESL classes."
"What the fuck are you talking about?"
"There isn't much point in reexplaining it to you, Biff. Our analysis of your current knowledge and intelligence levels indicate you'd have trouble with it."
"Are you calling me stupid?"
"No. Just not sufficiently motivated to learn, at the very least. But remedial students get grants too," he said. "Why don't we get you prepped for your procedure?"
"I'm not going anywhere with you. You're a psycho."
"I'm afraid you'll have to." Two burly orderlies came in to hold him down while the doctor injected him with something.
It must have been something good, because the whole thing became suddenly funny. He started to laugh. He didn't care what was happening as they wheeled him down the hall, through a set of double doors...after that, everything went black.
