I read more about the Staulirs. Neither the Trokkals nor the Osans knew about them. Without either of the others vouching for them, humanity decided to just quarantine all of them on the base. 1 giant megaship arrived and the communications were down for a week or so. They had no way to speak our language. Things were at an impasse. The Trokkals and Osans helped by lending both sides the equipment to understand one another. When the connection was established, they claimed asylum. I saw that this was all that was said on the topic. Why this was seemed to be classified information. They were a compound monogender species. A giant humanoid race, they were all 40- 50 feet tall. They seemed to be stardust based. They were all glowing white with stripes of brown crossing along their arms, legs and chest. They had spiked shoulders and knees. They also had four white eyes in the center of their face. Their eyelids were also white so they did not appear to be blinking until they closed certain eyes to keep at least 2 open at any time. The way their biology worked was weird.

They had 16 80-feet tentacles that sprouted from their back, 2 of each color of the rainbow and 2 black ones at the bottom. When the Staulirs onboard compared the big difference in heights of the other races they began to split. The first time, they became 25 feet tall. Instead of white, one clone was red and the other was indigo. The number and colors of the tentacles changed. Each clone had 8 40-feet tentacles. Still too big, the clones both split again. Now there were 4 separate 12.5 feet tall entities standing there. They were red, orange, indigo and blue. Each of the clones had 4 20-feet tentacles. The red one had 2 red and 2 black ones. The orange one had 2 orange and 2 violet. The indigo one had 2 indigo and 2 yellow ones. The blue one had 2 blue and 2 green. When they split into 8, they were each 6 foot 3. They were 8 colors and had 2 tentacles that were 10 feet each on their lower back. All of the entities could shoot an energy blast from the chest. At full power it could cause craters in the moon's surface. There was a power scale of each entity that ranged from black to red.

Black was 2.8%, Violet was 5.6%, indigo was 8.3%, blue was 11.1%, green was 13.9%, yellow was 16.7%, orange was 19.4% and red was 22.2%. It seemed the 8 sub entities enjoyed pairing up in ways to make them add to 25% of their full power, but individual sub entities seemed to have their own personalities. They were a cool race to play as well. I could see that Suzie was into it too. Since it was a compound race, you started as a single black entity and recruited members of other colors to fuse together. As you fused with other sub entities, you changed colors and your powers got stronger. Your level was a limit on what type of sub entities you could recruit. For example, I was level 10. That meant that I could fuze with violet without going over 10. Suzie was level 15. She could fuze with violet, indigo or blue. "Let's choose this world then." she said. I nodded. It certainly seemed to be a good time. I looked at the monitor to hear the name of the world. It was called "The Galaxy Comes to Us". If it was a nod to humanity being approached instead of seeking them out, it was pretty good.

Knowing that we were going to want to be on the same side, I asked her. She was feeling the Staurirs. I was too. We selected it and we were given a ticket for where we needed to go to get to this sub-world. We both went over to the airship terminal. We were one of the only ones that were going to the terminal. There were many nice sub-worlds and the rest of the main world was also appealing to new players. I could see one other Player in front of us. When we got on the airship we waited for a few minutes before it departed. Suzie and I shared a smile. After it set off, an announcement was broadcasted from the speakers around the ship. It was a rehash of the redacted information from the monitors. "Dear customers, as some of you do not fall within the required races, you will be given the opportunity to choose and customize an avatar of the accepted races." Immediately after, my vision went black as it took me to the character generation mode. I chose the Staulir race. I could make my skin shiny and sparkle from the stardust that made up my body. I could also choose a hairstyle.
