Julian did not rest at all well.

She woke up, reeling in the horrible truth as she felt the soft, white fur on her front. It was not a dream, she really did turn into... into pray. Into a weak, snivelling creature. A piece of meat on this earth that would become a meal in about two seconds, letting another live for about a week.

Humiliation was not even a word to describe how she felt. She was angry, trying to find some reason for this to happen to her. Nobody told her that there were rules. How could she have possibly broken any rule she didn't sign? So what if she didn't hunt for any reason besides the hunt! Nobody should care what she did! She deserved to be a god as much as that angel!

She tried to find some clothes to fit her from her cupboard. Most were shredded by her... previous state. She recalled she found it rather liberating to destroy the 'vestments of civilisation'. But now she was forced to don them again out of...

... some kind of shame.

She searched for quite a while before she was able to find a hooded top that must have been in the wash before she threw it away. It fit rather snugly over her breasts, but made her feel a lot better. It was just long enough to hide everything underneath as well, but she really needed something there too.

She looked around again finding a pair of shorts. She slipped that over, frowning at the tail end poking it uncomfortably. Her instinct was to cut it with her claws- claws she didn't have.

"Ugh!" She cried out in some desperation. Scissors... she needed scissors. Human tools! The humiliation just became deeper and deeper. So she cut a hole in her pants, allowing the tail to finally display itself proudly, despising the situation all the more.

"God damn it," She said in the end. It was sunrise, so the moon wouldn't be around. Now was a good time to leave to the shops.

She quickly ran out of her house, not even bothering to speak to her parents. What exactly need be said to them right now? She had to find out if.. if..

If you are really pregnant?

God damn damn damn it! The goddess was probably just messing with her. A hunter is supposed to hunt everything even the other hunters! She tried to think more on who that moon goddess was, and she remembered she was also some kind of illusionist. Maybe this was all some trickery, and her true form would reveal itself in time.

Are you really going to question the Huntress Herself?

"She had no right!" she said angrily before calming down some more. "Will I ever be a wolf again," She asked herself softly. This form... even as she stood waiting for the bus, people... people looked at her. Eyed her... it was not a respect for her power like before, but for what she could 'offer'. That's all she was, an offering for their plate! A meal to their very eyes! She wanted to wipe the smiles from each of their faces-

The bus arrived and she quickly boarded it. She paid as quickly as she could, making a quick glance up to ensure the moon wasn't visible.

"... I want that.. thing," said Julian.

"A pregnancy test kit miss?" Asked the chemist.

Julian tried her best to growl, but once again it just came out as a pitiful moan. "Yes. How much?"

"Well it's only a dollar, but-"

"Just hand it over! I don't want to talk anything about it."

The chemist looked to her. "But you have to understand how-"

"It's not for me okay! Just shut up and give it to me!" Julian said loosing patience. That seemed to appease the chemist.

Eventually the chemist relented and gave her the kit. Julian ran out of the store, and as quickly as possible walked to the nearby mall. There would be some toilets there she could use, and hopefully a lot of cover in the crowd. She didn't want anyone seeing her in the chemist for long, lest they think she was getting ideas.

She entered the woman's toilets with a feeling of foreboding. Clenching her paws, she went into a stall and locked it. "Okay... so I just got to... do this," she said. She quickly took the strip of paper out of the packaging and looked at the colour chart. It seemed easy enough. She felt a lot of tension as she tried to go on it, feeling all the more ill and mortified that this would be even happening to her.

Finally the colour started to change colour...

Julian looked at it and laughed. "Negative," She said grinning. "I knew it." She tossed the box away, feeling a lot calmer, she quickly got dressed and washed her hands. She tried to make her next plan. She had a vague recollection while she was in her ascended state, that another change might happen at some point. Something... something that might allow her to change back?

All she had to do was wait this out!

Just make sure that she would be among one of the people to change back...

Some time later, a cleaner picked up the discarded box. It was labelled 99% accurate, and scribbled to the side was written- accurate rating for humans.
