Selene giggled.

"In spirit, I suppose, yes, Artemis... As... Think of it as Artemis and Harriet."

"Oh." - Said Harriet.

"Still, sister... We should use caution when explaining the events to Leslie Gordon and his family." - Said Selene, all too clearly remembering the issues with Harriet's mother.

Venus nodded.

"I will see that it goes smoothly."

"It helps that the family is already here and has easy means to contact us." - Said Lucas.

"Okay!" - Said Lucas, jauntily - "The basic rules of the Universe are fixed, Lilly's got a new tree house, one with a passage to her tree in your place, and you guys were Minnesota nice to me. You guys can stay here as long as you like, I set up a portal for you guys to go back when you want. It'll close only when the last of you is back home and Lilly can still come here at will anyways. Now, Les, would I bother you too much if I were to play juuuuust a little bit of hell in your field of knowledge?"

Leslie smirked lightly.

"What is it you need to do?"

Lucas smiled.

"Just replant that blue branch of Lilly's somewhere in your lawn. Somewhere with room for it to grow. Let Lilly know and teach her how to care for it."

Demeter, goddess of harvest, sat in her own domains. Her sister, Gaia, was slowly waking up.

"Well-met, sister." - Said Hermes.

"Hermes. What is it you come to inform me?" - Said the goddess, simply.

"A request. From someone to whom we are in some degree of debt. And for someone to whom we are in debt as well..." - Said Hermes. He proceeded to describe the situation.

Demeter nodded.

"Agreed."

"Penny for your thoughts..." - Said Abigail to Leslie.

"I'm still in a bit of shock about this all... Right now, I'm still having trouble grasping it. All I can focus on is keeping communications open, I guess. I think we should buy Lilly a cell phone..." - Said Leslie.

Abigail nodded, deciding to help Leslie take on the smaller issues before the bigger ones.

"We should look into it..."

"Okay!" - Said Lucas - "Lilly, your parents said you could stay for a while longer. They trust Neruite, I think. Plus you're with friends."

By the side of a smiling Venus, Lilly blushed and nodded.

"Miss Lucas... Do you, like... Live here?"

Lucas giggled.

"No, no. I spend a long while here because it's just so nice, but my house is in Brazil. You will learn a lot, kiddo... And you don't need to call me 'Miss' either. Anyways, kiddo, enjoy. You earned it." - Her cell phone rang with a message.

"Hmm. Kiddo, I'll be back in a while."

Lucas smiled and opened a portal, stepping through.

The people of a Brazilian translation company were soon after treated to an e-mail in response to a job offer they made with ridiculously low rates.

Dear gentlemen at Blueword, it read, translated from Portuguese, It pains me that I cannot accept your offer to do this job at R$ 0.03 per word, but I have been busy with a project of my own at the moment. Namely, I have been dealing with Greek deities and one from an RPG world to help a squirrel girl keep mathematics working so that the universe isn't destroyed. Aside from that, I have yet to use my sword, Excalibur, to deal in full with a Lovecraftian thing that has been trying to destroy the Earth. Also of note is the fact that I have been helping magical girls fight against this same Lovecraftian thing with the intermediation of American secret agents. All of this has been taking up a bit of my time of late, which means that I must trim down my list of agencies somewhat, beginning, of course, with people that mistake me for a desperate beginner that would accept any ridiculous price. Sincerely yours, Lucas.

"He COULD have just said 'no'..." - Said the reader, annoyed, as he removed Lucas's e-mail from his contact list.

Of course, ordinarily, Lucas would still have said 'no', but she might be less colorful about it. Or more colorful.
