Jeff ran home.

He had exchanged numbers with Erica and Samuel. He didn't really understand their interest in him, but Samuel seemed interested in his family. He told them briefly, but... there wasn't much to go on, with the person he was more interested in. That of the lady Velvet.

From what Samuel said, Velvet 'was' a transformed person. Which- made no sense, as the only changed existed in this time, 'after' the sunlight. They were all involved in some kind of time thing, and it was driving him insane just thinking about it. If his family had changed blood already in them...

... they were already all 'freaks'. Maybe the sunlight didn't work on them then. He glanced at the sunlight, as it rose and himself... his body. He couldn't help but feel just a little disappointed- and relief. He was relieved but... at the same time, others got to experience...

"Urgh- what am I thinking!" he said angrily to himself. He was born human (mostly), and was happy to still be human! He was certainly not going to 'envy'... Damn it why did it have to be so confusing?

He went inside his house and to his room. It was unlikely anyone would notice he had gone into the sunlight. The young teen sat on his bed, with a faint sigh- and felt something... just...

... just weird.

He had no way to describe the strange tingling sensation, as he ran into the bathroom to look. Apprehensively he stripped down to his boxers and-

"Oh God- God no!" He screamed as he felt his crouch, (more accurately a 'her' at this point.)

Jeff started to draw in deep breaths, as he looked at- at 'it!' "No No NO!" He shouted again. "This can't be happening to me!" He felt sick.. grossed out, and just utterly mortified at the feminine configuration that he now had- and even stranger, the greenish triangle of hair- no not hair, a kind of strange fur? It was too short to be hair. Whatever it was, she had there, as it seemed to suddenly 'spread outward' with a sudden rush.

The green fur started to wrap around his nether regions, in a curious pattern- almost like a.. lower bikini? An entire line edge of it as if drawn on him which gave a very feminine appearance. Glancing behind and down, it certainly 'did' look like that. Glancing back she realised even her butt seemed to get a bit of padding to it looking rather- urgh! Damn it!

He- 'she' glanced down at her chest, noticing that they 'were' a little tender... though for the moment, it didn't look too different. Damn it he couldn't let anyone see this! He felt at the fur around- around- urgh!

Gross! It.. didn't look like normal fur. She tried to pluck one piece of it off, and it felt very hard to do it, taking just a bit more force then he would have imagined. Though maybe that was because of how coarse it seemed to be. The follicle was highly spaced out at the bottom, spread out in a tiny yet large mass. Jeff looked at it with confusion, as the head of it was also quite- strange. It had a sort of oval mass shape to it, gaining a bit of bulk like a large green orb.

"What the heck?" She wondered. This just didn't look at all normal. The strange girl tried to get a closer look, using the desk light. There was a lot of strange detail to the hair, now that he saw it closely. Just a little thicker then normal... and dark brown at the bottom.

"Oh God..." he said as it finally clicked on just what it was. "A tree? FU---"

He pulled up his pants. What the heck were small trees doing growing down there! This... This is... unreal. This is bad. Really bad!

"Calm down.. calm down," she said as she looked into the mirror. She still looked like her old self where most people would see. (though she seemed to have lost a few muscles too) It will be okay. Nobody need know! Nobody! Nobody would ever-

"Jeff?" called her mother.

"Y-Yes?" She said clearing her throat to make sure it sounded 'Normal'.

"The school principal is on the line for you."

Jeff made sure her jeans were on securely. She tried to look for her belt but even that had gone missing somewhere now! She had to go with just her jeans, and it felt just... 'weird' as it rubbed down there.

Jeff tentatively took the phone from her mother. "H-Hello?"

"Is this Jeff?" Asked Principal Erin.

"Yes- Yes it's me," She said tensely. Damn it! could he hear anything different?

"I just wanted to let you know, I have had a meeting with Ricky and Belle. It's been agreed that... you were just trying to help, and suspension is too severe a punishment. So I am going to just let this incident go. You can come back to class."

Jeff blinked. "A-Actually- Principal... I think I would really like some time-"

"Now now, I am quite certain you have learned your lesson," Said Erin. "Just come back and we'll forget about it."

The principal hung up... and Jeff was left realing at the implications of... of...

... "calm down... just go to school as normal," she said.

... tell nobody

Sider was pre-occupied. The angel girl Lucas, was trying to get his attention, but Sider was in some kind of bizarre calculation, writing on everything in his little basement. He was writing his equation on the very walls, but he had since stopped an was now writing patterns instead.

The angel girl gave him a slap on the face.

"Ow! Why'd you do that?"

"Because you needed it! Now what exactly has got you so excited?"

"I think I understand what's going on. But it's.. it's impossible."

"Tell me," said Lucas.

Cider took out a pen. "Okay... well.. argh! How can I possibly explain? You think of time like this right?"

He started to draw the image on the board.

Past------------------------------Present-------------------------future.

Lucas nodded. "Yep. Straight line. Everyone knows that, we've all seen back to the future."

"No! Listen. We're in the present. We can only be in the present. That's the dilemma." said sider. This is not what time looks like. It's not even anything we imagined it to be! It isn't even multiple! Well- not exactly. We got it all completely wrong!" He started to draw a new image.

Multiple pasts Small present. Variable future.

------------------------- - ><--------------------

"The future line moves up and down, but there is only one future. It aligns itself to the present, which is itself aligned to the pasts! Multiple pasts! It is all so clear now! But- There in lies the problem!"

"Wait- how can there be multiple histories? Isn't that parallel dimensions?"

"Yes and no. You think that a parallel past wouldn't affect the present.. and usually that is true. But note the future line. It moves and aligns itself, to a certain pasts. As the future moves, so too does our past- but only with information leakage, not actual happenings. It is not a snap sharp effect, it's all based on probability. Our universe has had multiple ages- but now its different. We have a parallel present too where nothing exists! Hidden away...."

"Nothing? You mean.. like the Enemy?" Asked Lucas curiously.

"Yes! You see they exist on the edge of the future line! The extreme ends where probability ratios become certainties. As the present becomes more improbable in physical dimension, they become more certain. It's a feedback mechanism of some kind- urgh I can't explain it. Just listen. They exist in all places, in all time frames now, because they exist in a present too and should not be in this frame. The only question is 'why' we still exist... we should not. The answer is a time loop! They can't remove the last remainder because it's existence is based on non-existence!"

Lucas sighed. This was so complicated and he didn't really know what to think any more. He had a vague idea it had something to do with Jeff's family. If that was the case, Jon must not unwish his wish. It would destroy an entire family linage, or the one thing keeping the enemy from obliterating their existence.
