Karyn saw how much it was freaking him out, for things to feel normal but know they weren't. Knowing something about her own life might not be real wasn't comforting either. She held his arm. "This other sister of yours, what's her name?"
Jon frowned. "I...can't remember," he said. "I can't remember what she looks like. She's a Goth...and a pain in the butt..." There was a blank space in his mind where her face was supposed to be. As if she was getting less real by the second. "I'd know her if I saw her."
Karyn looked at him. "Just wish you remember when you get home," she said. That relaxed Jon a bit. He still could fix this.
"Yes, but then Sam is gone...right? If I put things back. And what about Mikey?"
Karyn frowned. "Mikey?"
Jon stared at her. He'd completely forgotten to check on his little brother. Was he gone too?
