Most of the demihumans in the wagon began rushing off down where I pointed. The two male centaurs looked at me. They were young, but they must have been from a feral tribe, because they were massive. If my horse half is a racehorse, they were warhorses. They were both white centaurs with blond hair and blue eyes. I could see they had scars from being whipped and beaten all over their bodies. "You freed us from that slaver and his humans. I will follow you." the elder of the two said. The other grunted his agreement. Just like that, I had three more companions on my journey. The centaurs' names were Korenio and Xenios. Xenios was the slightly older one. I could tell from Ossie's raised eyebrow, he was not expecting this. He still had his rabbitkin slave. Her name was Kyoko. We were 1 member short of a full party. I had them move along as we had places to be, I was also happy when the bandits spawned in front of us. I killed them easily and we looted their bodies for the leather armor and weapons. All of the party got to wear it. The greatswords were perfect for the two centaurs.

Candidly, the ragtag team that we were was in no shape to challenge the dungeon. Aside from me, Xenios was the highest leveled member at 9. He was followed closely by Korenio and Ossie at 6 and 5 respectively. Kyoko was only at level 3. The bandits were also toned way down to reflect this fact. The centaurs did not have barding for their lower halves, which left them vulnerable to attacks. It would have to do. We could not stop in any city or town without risking being captured and enslaved by the people. We passed by one in fact. Ossie said "Kille City is a big city. We should keep our distance." I agreed with him. That did not stop the Knights of Kille from coming after us as we passed by. I did not know how they figured out where we were. Maybe there was a lookout on the city walls. I told everyone to stand back. They sent a big mounted platoon after us. I took out my blade and I killed all of them. The barding from the horses were taken off and I put them on the centaurs. In fact, the steel armor was put on all the slaves. It was limiting for Ossie and Kyoko, but the centaurs were totally fine.

Doing all of that made the opinions of my companions rise a bit. We then continued going onwards down the road. "You are really strong." Xenios said. Korenio nodded a bit in agreement. "How the hell did you get so strong?" I was asked by Ossie. I shrugged. "Nothing much. I was just blessed by a Devil." There was a pause, but I did not add anything else. It was up to them to take it how they wanted. When we passed another city, we saw another full company of knights were there waiting for us. "How the hell do they always know where we are!?" I asked out loud in disbelief. Kyoko raised her head. "That last master had a magic spell on his wagon to alert the guards if it was broken into." she said. That would have been really good to know. I just looked over at Ossie. He just smiled back at me nervously. As we were silently assigning blame, a mounted cavalryman approached. He had a large and aggressive moustache. "Stop in your tracks, criminal filth! You're under arrest for murder, theft and other crimes against the Chegow Republic. Submit and take let us take you into custody in Hesa City."
