Korey spoke up and said "I got a guy living here that owes me some money. If you got it for me, I'd like that." he said. Shayne rubbed the back of his head and said "Uh... this might be a bit embarrassing, but I actually have the opposite problem. Can you talk the the guy and tell him to call off the debt?" Tristan just scoffed and said "You suck." He then turned to me and said "I need one of those good lockpicks from the black market. I was banned for... reasons." Leaving that to hang in the air, I accepted all of those missions. Romantic quests usually had an amount relative to their social class. Since bandits were at the bottom, they only had one quest for each stage. In order to actually start courting, I had to do their tasks. Then, they would start seeking me out for dates. At that point, they would eventually give me a task to win their hand in marriage. That triggered when their opinion rose to 90. The next stage was the fiancé stage. At that point, I had to buy or craft a wedding ring and get them to a church. I let them out of my house before goin on my way. I just had to get Tristan some lockpicks.

Black markets were in every major city. You could get anything you wanted: weapons, alchemical supplies, magic items, spell scrolls or even slaves. Slavery was just abolished in Arkton kingdom. Lance Quaid and the Sages did a subversive move to convince the royalty to outlaw it. No one knew what had happened, but it was mostly because of the moral busybodies who wanted to hate on the game for praising systems. This did not stop the other kingdoms from doing it. It certainly did not stop the black market from trafficking them. Thinking on it, I could buy a slave and do the same plan that Paul had. I decided to at least try to get a legitimate husband before that point in time. I also wanted to have the status of being a paladin. That way I could pass on some magic to them. I waited to get a vendor willing to sell me the lockpicks. I got some malicious stares. Once I got it, I was accosted by a slaver that wanted to get me alone for a conversation. There was no way I was falling for that. I said no and then left. I found the guy that owed Korey money. I had to beat him up in an easy fist fight for it.

Shayne's loan shark required me to kill some goons before shaking him down in order to get him to burn the books with his name. The three had split up and I had to go to each one to finish the quests. After each meeting, I was taken out for a brief excursion and a fuck. For Tristan, it was a trip to hear a local bard playing in the Common district square. He danced with me in front of the fountain. Korey took me gambling and lost half of the money I got for him. I lost 20 lin too. It was still fun though. I was surprised when Shayne took me to the slum garden. I told him about the new seedlings I brought over. He thought it was cool. We looked around and looked at the plants and flowers. They were all pretty nice dates. Aside from the gambling, they were all free as well. We were now courting. I could not check their opinion of me. That was a special skill. All I could tell is that they agreed to the change in relationship status. I went over to the church for another mission and I saw there was a group of cultists attacking the cleric. I sprung into action and helped kill them. I asked them what happened.
