Miss Fine: The McMillans

Susan and Richard McMillan had taken an earlier flight into town. Tired and jetlagged, they had taken a cab straight home.

Richard had immediately gotten onto a conference call with some of his company's investors, and Susan went to take a bath to relax after a long trip.

As was usually the case, they hadn't thought to follow up with their daughter and they had missed most of what had been going on in town so far.
