"You found her in your house," Rebecca said into the phone. "I'm sorry, Mrs. Black...I know Sarah has been going through a rough time lately. It is so nice of Karyn to try and help her. What's the address? I'll be right over."
She headed into the living room, where Alex was playing. "Come on, sweetie...we have to go out for a little while. It is only a short distance from Mommy's friend, Mrs. Gibson. Maybe we will stop by there afterward."
"Okay, Mommy," Alex said, getting up and giving her a big hug. "Love you."
Rebecca smiled at that. She got into the car and headed toward the Black residence.
