Hopefully, I could stop them in time. I had powers that would be useful. Mass Suggestion was now with a range of 10 feet, could enthrall up to 20 people, lasted 20 minutes, did 10 psychic damage every 5 seconds of resisting the power and had cooldown period of 2 hours, 5 minutes and 51 seconds. That would have to be good enough. I stepped out from behind the bathroom and looked at them. Both of them were still beating the shit out of the father. One was holding down the weakly kicking legs and punched while the other stomped him out. Just as he brandished the knife. I approached and said "Stop it you two!" They stopped in their tracks and looked me in surprise. "Who the hell are you!?" the first demanded. "Didn't you fucking run away already!?" the second one asked. Now that they were facing me, I got even closer so I could be in range and looked at them. "I said stop." They froze as if held in place. I knew my power was working. "Drop the knives and kick them as far away from you as you can." I ordered. They complied immediately. I ran for the knives and picked them up.
Once the weapons were secure, they were no longer a threat. "You two are going to fall asleep for the next three hours." Their eyes rolled in the back of their heads and they fell to the ground unconscious. Both of the centaurs were incapacitated. Cesus's father was larger and so was more able to fight off the effects though, hence the weakly kicking legs. Cesus was totally immobile, though awake and conscious. "What the hell are you, Sunny!? The humans lost their ability to use magic centuries ago- everyone knows that. This isn't possible." I just shrugged and said "That's a story for another day." It seemed the muscle relaxers were only effective for two hours. It was more than enough to beat and castrate two centaurs. "So there are humans out there that want to see 'taurs dead and gone, huh?" Cesus's father said as he finally got up. He was still tender all over his body as he stretched and walked around. Once the cooldown for Bestow Power was completed, I looked at Cesus. "I can give you some powers as well. Do you want to try?" He rolled his eyes and said "Fuck it. Sure, why not?"
Vortex was the power I gave him. You could create a vortex using your body and suck object and people inside. It had a range of 10 feet, could suck people at a rate of 4 feet per second, lasted 20 seconds, did 10 damage to anyone under 1 foot away every second and had the same cooldown period. I explained how the powers worked to him. "You have 20 seconds but don't let that fool you. If you use less it will recharge at double the rate of time you have used." I instructed. "You should use it on these assholes. World would be a better place without them." his father said. Cesus nodded before he blinked in realization. "What the fuck!? Why's it my ass where the votex comes from!?" he screamed. Because it was funny. I wasn't going to tell him that though. I just shrugged. His father laughed. "Looks like we found another thing your ass is good for!" he hollered. Cesus had no choice but to turn his ass towards the defenseless humans. We got out of the way. The vortex was a black swirling mass of energy. The humans flew up from the ground and slammed into him with some force. Cesus grunted.
The bodies twisted in a clockwise fashion and cracked as the power of the vortex began doing its damage. Once they were unidentifiable masses of red flesh, they were both absorbed into the core of the vortex. They were not the most healthy or fit, so it only took 14 seconds from 10 feet away. He then stopped the vortex and sighed. "It felt like I was taking in a fucking dick." he said with mild disgust on his face. Children under 10 each had 50 HP. It was so they had a chance if attacked, but not much of one. Anyone over that age had at least 100 HP. Healthy lifestyles, higher levels, and race played a factor for this. Centaurs, for example, had 750 base HP. "Well, I think it's time to go home. Your brother and sisters are probably waiting for us. Now we have backup in case more of those freaks come next week." Both Cesus and I looked at him in shock. "What!? Your family still has to eat and you still have bills for that school. We are doing this until we get the money we need." he said. "We'd have it if you'd stop losing it all in the casino!" Cesus snapped. His father just punched him right in the face.
